The one problem I have with this product was minute, and didn't deserve a star knock down. Sum of my findings: Taste: Good, not chalky. Ingredients: Protein to Calorie ratio is awesome. Only has 5 ingredients; amazing for a protein powder! Blending: It doesn't dissolve right away with a blender bottle, but if you read their description it recommends a BLENDER, which I do not use. Digestive Level: Lactose turns me into a gassy beast, I've had no issues with this product. Full Review: Taste: The vanilla is more present than the chocolate in my mixture, neither is potent enough to ruin my shake. Once blended it is smooth, not chalky. Don't let the title fool you! It doesn't taste anything like the broth you put in soups. Ingredients: The protein to Calorie ratio is the best I've seen so far in my hunts. There's only 2.7 grams that isn't protein! Most powders I've seen range from 8 to 15 gram difference (you should really avoid the ones that have more than a 10 gram difference, they're complete garbage at that point). If you're not getting a protein powder for the protein... what's the point? There's only five ingredients in this mix and you can pronounce each one. The more ingredients in a powder, the poorer the quality of product. Chances are if you can't pronounce the ingredients, you probably shouldn't be ingesting them. Most end up being man-made preservative garbage. Blending: I only use blender bottles, so I am sure it mixes far better in the recommended blender idea, but I found when I make my drink, give it a good shake, throw it into the fridge for 10-20mins, give it a good shake, it works just fine. By that time, the powder will have smoothly blended in with the rest of my shake. Taste: In my case, I like mixing this with almond milk, and coffee. The powder gives it the perfect amount of sweetness. The vanilla flavor is more present and the chocolate one is more mellow, but I haven't found this product to be over powering. It also mixes well with my other protein powder. Digestive Level: This product doesn't upset my stomach or disrupt my natural body functions. I am slightly lactose intolerant and wasn't sure how this protein powder would play out. Ingesting anything with lactose tends to make me gassy (as if a fart has ever stopped me from enjoying dairy), but this powder didn't react negatively in any way. I've been using this product along side Hydro Whey for the past two months. I love my Hydro Whey, but this is a better product. If you're looking for a good quality protein powder with a great protein to calorie ratio and something that won't upset your digestive system, I definitely recommend this product.

I bought this to help me with recovery from a couple big surgeries. It turned out much better than I expected. I put this in my coffee each morning. I pour the coffee in a larger container to mix with a small hand mixer before pouring into my coffee mug. It works beautifully and tastes great. The powder is a little sticky, but mixes well into my hot coffee. I love the fact it is from grass fed beef and the collagen along with the protein is so beneficial. This will be become a regular purchase for me. I received a notification when it was delivered but the picture showed that it was delivered to the wrong house. I contacted Customer service and they sent out a replacement right away.

This is my second review...I reviewed it for taste only when I first tried it, but now I've been using it for 2 weeks and want to expand my review. First, as I said in my old review, the taste is great!! No "meat" taste at all that I've found with other bone broth protein powders. My biggest concern, though, was digestive upset. I was injured during a surgery and was on seven days straight of very strong antibiotics in an IV and they completely trashed my gut :(. I was having a really hard time digesting any of the healthy foods I was trying to eat to get my strength back. My old go-to protein powder (which was plant-based protein) no longer worked for me as it was upsetting my stomach every time I drank it. This is amazing!!! Not a BIT of digestive upset at all! The ONLY thing that was a problem was the foam it would create during blending. I use almond milk, organic spinach and other veggies and some fruit and kefir in my morning shake, so I have to blend on "high" in my Vitamix in order to get everything smooth. But you cannot blend this powder on high or you will get mostly foam. To correct that problem, I first blend all of my other ingredients on high, then I add the protein powder and mix in on the lowest setting for about 20-30 seconds. That way, no foam! I will be purchasing this from now on - it's a fantastic product!!

Love this powder. No odd taste and is especially good for anyone wanting to calm their gut.

Tastes better than other bone broth powders that I've tried, but minus one star because this is sweetened with cane sugar. Stevia extract and monk fruit extract are also ingredients. Check the ingredients label! It has 3.5g of carbs per serving compared to 1g in other bone broth powders. I had used this as part of the "bone broth diet" for a couple of months before I realized it had sugar. It's not a lot, but if you're on a diet that restricts cane sugar or next carbs, you should consider an alternate product. I enjoy adding this to hot tea and smoothies. The taste is different than drinks made without bone broth, but is still pleasant. I do feel full after drinking. When making hot tea, add this to boiling water then stir. It clumps, but stir again after letting it sit for 1-2 minutes. The clumps will 95% or more dissolve in the hot water with a small clump or two that clings to the top of the spoon or cup. Add stevia or monk fruit if desired, then tea bags. When blending in smoothies, blend all your other ingredients first. Then add the powder while the blender is running on low, if possible. Putting the powder in your blender at the same time as the other ingredients leaves clumps on the side of the blender pitcher. I have not had problems with gut/ painful digestion prior to using this product, so I cannot comment on comparison of products for that.
