Cuts a good thread form.
A nice quality tool for my 3 1/2 hobby lathe, tested it cutting a 8mm x1.25 pitch screw in 316 stainless steel, a very good form and finish archived in about 15 passes which is the way to do it.

Absolute garbage.
Not fit for purpose. Destroyed 2 inserts and a piece of 20mm round stock stainless. Don’t bother with these. Spend more and get something that’s actually going to do the job

Just the tool
Needed a new threading tool so opted for this one, it is very sturdy and accepts regular inserts, ideal threading tool for the mini lathe, recommended item.
