Works great
This thing works well. I am using filtered water with it, but it has given me clear ice every time I used it. You can play around with how much water you put in to get the size of cube you want. I still get a few different sizes every time, but they are all clear. Way easier than the old cooler in a freezer then cut out our cubes. Well worth the money. All of the material seem to be quality. I am fairly rough with it and have had no problems. Does clear ice last longer in a drink than normal ice? NO, but it sure does look good in the glass.

Nearly perfect, first use.
Quality for the price, I see it lasting a reasonable time. I bought the 2” square. Construction: It’s has a dense styrofoam base, lined with a silicone insert, plastic tray to hold the silicone cube tray both with holes for filling and leveling. I froze for 48 hours and I think a bit too long, but still turned out great. It freezes the ice from the top down, pushing the impurities in the water down for clear ice. This is a method I’ve been using in just a small cooler with no mold and chiseling cubes out of it. The method works. The ice cubes will clear further when tempered (letting the cube warm up a little). This will also aid in the ice NOT cracking. Be patient with your ice and have fun with it . . it’ll turn out great. Again this was my first shot out of this tray/maker and I think less freezing time will yield a better cube. I saw a review that said the ice cracked or shattered and video showed cube under running water. The cube will crack if the ice is directly out of the freezer and held under a running tap!!! Let the ice warm a few minutes, it will clear a bit, resist cracking and look better. I’ll rub the cube in just my washed hands works well. Not only does this cube look great in your drink, but it will also melt much slower than icemaker ice, NOT watering your drink as quickly. Very happy so far and do not see a reason I’d be unhappy any time soon. Take your time, use a little science and enjoy!!!

Clear Round Ice
Pros: - It makes good clear round ice. These are ~ 2 inch round and easily fits in a standard old fashioned glass/lowball or even a smaller whiskey glass. The glasses in my pictures are about 3.5" tall x 2.75" diameter aka not a true standard old fashioned glass/lowball or 3.5" high x 3.25" diameter. - Worked great with my well water with softener. I used water straight from the facet set to cold for these pictures. I did not use filtered water, but if I do, I may come back and post an update. - It's easy to fill with water. See fill Instructions below for more information. - It's easy to remove the molds. See removal instructions below for more information. - Makes 8 ice rounds in one go. - Works great to stack in a highball glass for other cocktails. - Noticeable difference in my old fashions as the ice melts. Less mineral or diluted tasting. I feel like the rounds has to melt more compared to normal ice from any standard mold I own that are the same size before the cocktail tastes less potent. - I also feel like they do melt a bit slower compared to standard ice. I can finish the cocktail and usually be able to make another before the cube is gone but that's subjective to how fast the drink goes down 😁. Cons: **personal opinion** if you disagree with the below, rate it 4.5 to 5 stars. - The giant ice block at the bottom seems a bit waisted. You can let sit for a few than take out and store for other drinks like big batch punch or tea when hosting. Wish it had another mold at the bottom to turn it into cubes, rounds...something instead of a giant rectangle for reuse. True Ice molds do this with their cubes and I find it a very nice touch. However, their cubes can be a bit more "fun" to remove 🤷. Fill Instructions: You fill the unit until ~2 inches from the top, place the molds inside the unit. If water does not flow from the top as shown in one of my pictures, you need to top off with more water by filling through one of the holes. It doesn't take long at all. Removal: As stated earlier, to help with removal try to stay within the instructions limits. I usually let mine go for 24 -28hrs without any issues. Could probably do 30 without much fuss. Pull one handle of the mold out. I usually pull one of the ends first than the middle. For the big block of ice at the bottom. I usually let sit for a few minutes on the counter than dump into the sink or store for later uses like big batch tea when having guests. Other: Material, like many other molds that use silicon, can be a dust magnet. Not really a con but fair warning for those that would store this sitting out instead of in a cabinet or drawer.

Clear ice is da bomb
Pretty easy to use and makes very clear ice. It is not always perfectly clear, but I don't fully follow the instructions. They last long and look great in my gin and tonics, and surfsides.

Not the best
I bought these in hopes of making clear ice to brand a restaurant logo on. I purchased 3 and followed the directions, using pure filtered water and only a few cubes came out crystal clear. Some of them are not shaped well. I also might add that these cubes are bigger than regular square cubes and do not entirely fit in a normal rocks glass.

Great Quality and ease of use and they are truly clear
I was pleasantly surprised to find that instead of cheap plastic for the molds and reservoir it was silicone and of a surprisingly great quality! The cubes are true to size, clear as advertised and my husband’s been raving about them to anyone he gets a chance to! It’s not too big and bulky for my small spaced freezer, it’s made well and I’m confident it will last a long time. I figured it would take about 12-18 hours but it took over24 hours which initially surprised me until my husband told me it makes the whole reservoir (which the mold sits down into) a block of ice. My husband initially threw that piece out but later thought of other uses (for sno cone machine, crush up, use in a cooler for camping, fishing, whatever). Overall I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

Large, clear ice
Love these clear ice cubes! They're not perfect--sometimes the very bottoms of the cubes are a little frosty. Often, the last cube to freeze is forced up and pushes the top covering off. After a couple years of use, the very outer silicone seal broke and we had to order a new one. However, this is the best we've had so we'll keep using it. My tip is to not bother with the top plastic cover. Usually it just results in frost building up between it and the ice's surface. As long as you get the ice out of the maker within a week or so there's no need.
