This stuff works great!
I used this for a 240 square foot patio made of 1 foot pavers. Put down 3 - 4 inches of decomposed granite and used a plate compactor (rented from HD) to make sure it was solid. Then a 1 inch layer of sand to set the pavers. Set them in and lightly tamped them in. Just left a 1/8 inch gap between the pavers. They felt "loose" when walking on them, even though the base was very firm, they'd move slightly when walking. I had planned on using another brand of poly sand, but when I looked at the instructions, the stuff available locally said it was for 1/4 inch or larger gaps. I found this Dominator Polymeric sand at Amazon, it had good reviews, and said it could be used for 1/8 gaps. So I bought the 45 lb bucket. Installation was pretty simple: Spread the sand over the pavers, then sweep it into the gaps. I used a 24" push broom with fairly still bristles. Keep spreading sand and sweeping until the gaps are full. I found that going across the gaps at an angle worked best. When the gaps are full, sweep the excess off. Then use a leaf blower to get the remaining dust. Use the leaf blower LIGHTLY so you don't blow the sand out of the gaps! Following the instructions, I used a hose set on shower to spray small sections (about 8x10) at a time. Spray for 15 - 20 seconds until water just starts to pool on the sand, then stop and wait about 30 seconds. Then spray it a second time. It only took about 5 minutes to do my 240 square feet. I again used a leaf blower to blow any sand residue off the top of the pavers. To be honest, I don't think that made a difference on my concrete pavers, as I used the Titanium color, which perfectly matched the pavers. I don't think I did a good job with the second round of blowing, but there are no stains anywhere. That's it. Done. And when walking on the pavers immediately afterwards, they were SOLID! The sand was still wet, but this stuff really locked the pavers into place! And the next day, after the sand had cured more, it was even more solid. The stuff sets up almost like a good silicone sealant; it's flexible, but it's kinda glues the pavers together. I had about a 1/4 inch gap around the perimeter of the pavers, between the pavers and the aluminum edging I used, and (about 2 weeks later) you can press your finger into those spots and it's still kind of flexible. Solid, but flexible. It feels like it'll stay that way for years. And the pavers don't move around - at all! We moved our patio furniture onto it, and use it daily. The 45 lb bucket was just enough to do our 240 square foot patio with 12 inch paver with 1/8 inch gaps. And I mean just barely. If you have bigger gaps or smaller pavers, you'd need more. Yes, it's fairly expensive compared to the kind at the big box stores, but it's worth every penny. If you're doing pavers, don't even think about getting something else - this stuff is awesome!

Works great for sidewalk cracks and joints
Easy to use and easy to apply. I was going to use thin mixed concrete and daughter recommended this. So so much easier to use and once completely set, it is super hard yet pliable enough not to crack.

Fills cracks better, keeps weeds/ants out, and prevents shifting
I hate when weeds grow through the openings between pavers on my walkway, and I hate even more when ants build tall mounds that seem to appear overnight. That’s why I decided to try this product—and I’m glad I did. Yes, it was about twice as expensive as what I usually get from the big box store, but it’s much better quality and worth the extra cost. The grain is finer, and once watered in, it solidifies better than the cheaper brands. This makes a big difference because if the sand between your pavers gets washed out, the stones will eventually start shifting—especially if your walkway is on a hill. Some extra details that may help others: The color match is excellent for light grey pavers. One bag covered my pathway (3 feet wide by 30 feet long). There is some dust when pouring, but no more than normal. Follow the directions carefully for best results. Since this comes in just a bag, you cannot store leftovers—moisture from the air will ruin it (speaking from experience). Only buy what you need. I usually refill the cracks every 5 years to keep things neat and stable. Overall, this product does a better job of keeping weeds and ants out, looks nicer, and keeps my walkway solid. Worth the investment if you want your pavers to last.

Great Product, better than big box store brand
So easy to use, great powder consistency to pour into cracks and wet down. Hardened overnight and looks and feels like concrete. Purchasing another bag to finish my project. Ivory was too white, so going with the next tinted color for the next bag.

Application is an art, not a science.
In my opinion, polymeric sand is tricky to use. Half of my application came out great while the other half was a little spongy. Getting the right amount of water is more of an art than science. It would be great if somehow the amount of water could be better quantified. No complaints about the product; it’s consistent. The user however needs to be better.

Just okay
This is the 2nd time ordering, it works fine, does its job but its very expensive and doesn't go very far.
