This is a fantastic kitchen utensil. I love the long handle because if I’m frying something it lessens the chance I’ll get splattered with painful hot grease. It’s durable and versatile. I use it for picking up many things I cook like boiled potatoes and vegetables. It’s strong, sturdy and the perfect thickness. The price was reasonable.

I really like the Hiware Solid Stainless Steel Spider Strainer. Very good quality and well made and I really appreciate that it's Solid stainless steel. I would definitely recommend this product. I bought the smaller size and it's perfect for me to use in my kitchen cooking.

Years ago I created a product selling on Amazon which allows you to make restaurant quality chicken wings from home. I show full cooking methods including air frying, oil frying & turkey frying. After starting with the air & oil frying methods (using the smaller residential appliances) I quickly discovered I needed to find a much bigger cooking solution since my family absolutely inhales the wings. I decided to get a turkey fryer (even though I had never used one). After using the turkey fryer over 20 times, I started using this Hiware solid stainless spider strainer to scoop the wings out of the turkey fryer rather than using the steamer basket for a much easier product to clean. This strainer/skimmer is AWESOME! I use it for wings, veggies & every single straining/skimming use I can think of. Very sturdy, good quality been using it for about two weeks now, comes in handy when I need to debone the chicken and strain the vegetables. Also great to pick up cat litter. Sturdy it doesn't get hot the handle. Would highly recommend this company. I would purchase from them again.

Using this to strain out my chicken’s fermented feed. Perfect size and just what I needed.

Using this to dip out food from hot water/oil is so much easier than emptying the pot via running through a colander or some other method. Much smaller chance of burning oneself when dealing with boiling liquids. I wish I had invested in one of these long ago. The item itself is well constructed with a sturdy frame of heavy wire about 3 mm in diameter and should last for many years. These come in two varieties: One is flat, the other has a small bend where the basket is at a slight angle to the handle. I've not used both so I shouldn't comment on the superiority of one over the other but I suspect the angled variety might have a slight advantage.
