Glad i purchased it
I head a feeling that this will be one of those impulsive buys. We recently bought dehydrator and i discovered that the best tastiest dried fruit is apple. And they need to be decored before you slice them. The decoreing part was super annoying. I couldn't get a clean and nice look of a decored slices. I looked at the stores for an apple decorer and to my surprise could find one anywhere. So i went to Amazon and bought this one. This decorer is the best thing for prepping apples. I use it every single time when i have an apple in my hand. Super easy to use super easy to clean. Nice and sturdy. When im using it im twisting it at the same time and results are great every time. I absolutely love it. This is one of those things that you might not use every single day, but when you need it you feel lucky you have it. I highly recommend it. The quality is great, no flaws and it functions very well.

Works very well
My wife and I can and freeze apples every year. She also makes a lot of apple butter for family and friends. This item works great once you get the hang of it. It can get off centered on some apples because of the way they lay on a cutting board but once you figure out how to center it you can core a lot of apples in a hurry.

Surprisingly better than a standard apple corer!
I make apple pies and crumbles all the time, and the hardest part of the job is peeling and coring the apples. That's why when I saw this Cusipro corer reviewed on America's Test Kitchen, I decided to take a chance and buy it.It is definitely the best apple corer I've used. Not only does it have a larger diameter to remove more of the core, the core can be disposed of quickly and easily without putting your fingers at risk. The only downside is that, like any other apple corer, it's possible to miss the core altogether if it doesn't line up between the top blossom and the bottom of the core. After all, apples are mechanical and sometimes the core is at an angle.Nonetheless, for a very modest price, this is a definite upgrade to whatever you're using now to core an apple. I've thrown out the others that I owned and have adopted the Cusipro as my go-to tool for baking apples!

Well designed and built, and easy to use
I finally broke down and got an apple corer because I got back into dehydrating, and wanted to be able to make nice, uniform thickness apple slices for chips. I always just cut the shells (the seed cavity) out with a paring knife after quartering the apples because I was worried about having pips (seeds) left behind, which, as it turns out, shouldn't have been a concern. The two I've found which escaped popped right out when I sliced my apples with a mandolin. I chose this one because it's from a brand I know and trust; and it looked as if it would be easy to hold and use (it is). The build is sturdy, the blade is sharp enough to cut without difficulty, and the core comes out of the corer easily. I wish I'd gotten this decades ago.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Works pretty well :)
This works pretty well. The bottom that pierces through the apple is actually surprisingly sharp. This tool is also very sturdy. I thought from viewing online that this would be large and clunky. However, it seems smaller than it appears online (to me at least). I've run it through the dishwasher several times and water has not become trapped in the handle, and it still looks brand new. I do still find myself reaching for a pearing knife, when preparing one apple... but if making a pie or crisp I would opt for this!

Works very well to core apples
Very easy & fairly fast to core apples for apple crisp or apple cake. The corer goes through the apple & does not have to be pushed through both ends. Much easier to work than our 1961 apple corer, which still works but takes more time & effort.

Extremly well designed product, and solid to boot!
LOVE IT!!! I saw a testing of apple corers on American Test Kitchen, some of the items I actually have. This one was supreme, and after using it just once, I totally agree and I will explain why. Size of the corer hole is large enough to get the core out of the biggest apple without having to take a paring knife to it after. The trick is to push it all the way through the apple & then pull it back up. The clip is a brilliant feature, once you pull the core all the way out, press it and you get the core out easily. Third, the grip handle gives you the perfect position and leverage to push down with ease.I've cut a lot of apples through the years. I still have my manual corer/slicer and will still probably use it to slice my apples to keep the uniform largely, but this added process is actually quicker than using just the slicer one as I don't have to fight getting the core out or clean up all the core peices left behind. Well designed, I am getting rid of my corer that I never use, getting rid of my peeler/corer hand crank item too...this and my hand slicer will be all I every will need, no matter how many apples I cut in the fall!
