As soon as I opened import the import the wax into my machine.I noticed that it shined like diamonds. I know that's might seem silly but it was aesthetically pleasing. I have spent a lot of money on different types of wax.Trying to find the perfect one. This wax was suggested to me by a professional waxer from her store on Amazon that I follow on social media.She's really great and she gives you so many tips of how to do this yourself and what items to use.. I truly appreciate her.And I wish I could remember her name right now to share with you. This wax is great and it works on stubborn hair.That's the bottom line. It has made my waxing experience less stressful and faster. It peals off really easy and is effective. I put this wax in the machine on low and it was melted in less than 10 minutes and the wax machine was cold and not preheated.I will be purchasing this wax again from this company.

I absolutely love love love this product! I started with starpils classic blue. And it worked great! But I had a lot of breakage issues on pulls, and subsequent skin irritation. But with this one, it stays elastic for so long that I rarely get ripped when I pull. And when I do it doesn't hurt nearly as bad! But somehow this formula also grabs my small blonde peach fuzzies better too, so I gt so much more smooth with so much less irritation! As a hairy trans woman I swear by this product!

Does not pick up vellus hairs. Would not recommend as an Esthetician... Super brittle, hard to get the right consistency and temp at the same time. Don't waste you money!

Starpil's hard black wax arrived on time and package was sealed and intact in larger box with double wax pot. Have not used wax beads yet.....will update my review at a later time.

This is one of the best, if not THE BEST brand of wax I’ve used. I am not an esthetician so I’m not professional, but this is easy to use and good quality. If you’re looking for a good quality brand, this is the wax for you! . This is a hard wax, which means it doesn’t need a strip, like soft wax removal requires ! The black is great for sensitive skin and any hair anywhere… yes even for bikini or Brazilian area! *Before using this product please do you due diligence to ensure that you are not misusing the product or hurting yourself in the process ***

So far I have tried Cirepil, Starpil, Mermaid Wax, ItalWax, Sally Hansen, and Gigi (please note I am a licensed pro) and this one is decent. For the price, I find its results acceptable, but when I tested it on myself and some others, I and they, all thought it was more painful than the other waxes, but it picked up a decent amount of hairs, even a few fine ones. I'm not a fan of how it lays and found it broke even when adding additional layers. Now this could just mean it is not the type of wax for my style of waxing, but really I just found this wax okay. Good for price, good for practicing and new esthies, but definitely does not blow me away. I would suggest the Italwax in Plum, it is one of my favorites and you can immediately tell the difference. You'll thank me later.

If the wax is too thin it’ll break but, aside from that it’s good. I did hear some mixed reviews from estheticians.
