Exceptionally Durable!
I purchased one of these to try and have to say this is by far one of the best LED lights that I have ever used for several reasons. Believe me when I say this, I tried all types of wireless LED lights. Those that you use regular batteries that drain even if you don't use it, they only last less then a week and then the batteries have to be replaced, very annoying & costly.1. The charge lasts for months depending how & where you place it and what mode you choose. I placed one underneath each closet door jam in my home, also underneath the kitchen sink cabinet and use the sensor mode. They automatically turn on upon movement/motion. This mode allows the fixture to stay on for about less then a minute, but if your in its sensor path for more then a minute, it will illuminate longer or until there is no visible motion in its path.2. They mount very easy, no tools required, the magnetic strip holds them strong even if they are placed upside down. Easily can be detached to provide a portable light wherever/whenever you need it.3. They can be used as a flash light if there is a power outage.4. They come with a USB power cord and charging the lithium battery takes approximately 2-hours. Caution, never ever leave any electronic device that uses lithium batteries unattended or plugged-in for more than the manufacturer rated time.5. The lumens are strong/bright and do not effect your vision if you look at them directly.Other positive features, they are slim/sleek, can be placed in many places in your home, car, shed, inside an amwar closet etc. The "convenience/durability" of these little lights is endless. I purchased 7 of the rechargeable 14-LED and one of the 56-LED in which l placed pointing downward into the basement stairwell. Overall these "Veepeak" lights are by far one of the best LED LIGHTS you can own and you will not be sorry, but happy you made a great choice. Certainly don't have to worry about ever replacing regular batteries every so often. Last, Veepeak also makes a 10-LED that uses regular AAA bateries, I don't recommend purchasing these unless you prefere replacing the batteries ever-so-often.

Great when on, but hard to keep activated.
I like the brightness levels, and love the initial fast response to motion that occurs when set to the motion sensor, but greatly dislike the fact that it goes off in 20 seconds, even if you are standing in front of it with some motion. Also, after it goes off, it can take another 20-30 seconds before the motion sensor will re-recognize "new" motion and turn back on. Also, even though it is a LED fixture, if you choose to set it to the on position and leave on for a while, it won't even last 3 hours before needing to be recharged. If they could make it stay on a minimum of 60 seconds in the motion sensor mode and make the motion sensor more receptive to continued motion, it could be a 5 star item. But as is, I would not again or another one.

Was great at first used while doing dishes above sink because it was dark. Will no longer hold a charge. I've tried multiple different chargers. Used the same charger the whole time. I liked the push button and different settings wish it would've lasted.

worth every penny, recharge is a nice feature
I was skeptical at the beginning with the rechargeable unit for my closet, thinking the charge would not last. Well its been 6 months since I purchased and still working like a champ. Wow! Plenty of brightness as well. Gets my thumbs up! My last one died (not this model) due to battery leakage.

Gr8 motion klught for our open pantry. For better low light setting yu should cover the light sensor wiith black electric tape being careful not to cover the small dome in the center. Have been using it for quite siome time on the bigh setting motion and it still doesnt need recharging

Lights work wonderful in my kitchen
Lights work wonderful in my kitchen, under the cabinets. There are 3 settings,and do not have to be charged often. Also, you do not need batteries.

The light was bright and perfect for our need
The light was bright and perfect for our need. But the off/on switch quit working after 3 months. You might get more use from it in automatic mode, but we needed to be able to turn it off or on manually.

You only get one light, but it works pretty good and it recharges.
