Works great, a little noisier than original
Like the title says, works great but a little noisier. Included tools are not great, would recommend buying a little repair set to make your life easier.

Works great! I didn't know this replacement existed. I'm glad I took the plunge. Worked great, now we can enjoy our old Wii games again.

Works great was a lil worried as it arrived very dirty, but it was easy to install an so far I have had no issues and now I can use my Wii again.

Read This First
The Trihead screwdriver was not properly machined so I had to take matters into my own hands and file it down before I permanently stripped the screw heads. Another drawback is the screwdrivers are not magnetized so I was literally shaking in frustration trying to reinstall the disk drive. So I definitely recommend magnetizing them. Besides that the new disk drive went in and worked like a charm!

Careful here, first one was broken.. second one was broken but usable
First unit arrived quickly, took WII apart to install it and found that, on the replacement drive, the ribbon cable locking tab was broken so it was unusable. Did the replace/return. Second unit arrived and found one of the mounts was broken and the rubber grommet was missing. DIdn't want to wait for a second replacement so I installed it and it appears to work well. So be careful.... inspect the drive before taking your WII apart.

Great replacement drive for the Wii
This drive brought new life back to my Wii. After the old drive stopped reading my games. Great video on YouTube helped me install.

Made my old Wii work again but drive sounds a tad scary
Arrived on time and in working order! Followed an ifixit guide to replace it and was actually quite simple. It’s definitely been used though (which is a given and I’m fine with that) cause you can hear the rollers pretty loudly. Still a good deal however!

Worked like a charm
I was able to easily fix a Nintendo Wii in just about 10 minutes. Biggest challenge was to open the Wii case with special screwdrivers but the replacement DVD was a perfect and easy fit.

A great replacement part!
After our WII stopped reading our game disks, we thought that was it. It is one of the few game consoles that allows a group to play a game together without the need of internet access nor another console.After replacing the DVD drive with this product, the WII has a new life! This replacement drive worked very well!

Perfect Replacement drive
Drive arrived as expected. Swapped out the old drive from my Wii with this one. Worked like a charm. Kids are back to using it and are ecstatic!

Replacement optical drive for v3 Wii. Exact match, a few screws, wire connections needed not change or firmware update. Wii is now working again. Repaired disk not readable error.
