A powerful mood elevator
I bought this not for weight loss or appetite suppression but in order to stop taking Celexa. I had read about a study in which researches discovered that saffron extract worked as well or better than Celexa and with no side effects. I decided to give it a try. I took one capsule every day for two weeks to let it build up in my system, then I started the weaning process off Celexa. I weaned for two weeks. After that I had to get through another two weeks of withdrawal symptoms, but I made it, and now I'm free (from prescription chemicals, at least). It is quite amazing. My mood is good, even better than before. I have more energy and actually look forward to getting up in the morning. My advice: talk to your doctor before trying this, but it might be a viable option for you.

Tried this product - one capsule daily - as saffron extract was mentioned in a People's Pharmacy column as helpful in slowing the progression of Macular Degeneration by a reader and PP cited 3 small studies supporting the effect. 60 days is too soon to judge its effects but my ophthalmologist says it won't do any harm. I've repeated my order.

Great Product!
I read online that saffron was good for eye problems like macular degeneration. I had a large black floater in my eye so I decided to get a bottle and give it a try. After a couple of weeks, the floater was almost gone so I ordered 2 more bottles.

Would not buy again
Didn't experience any effect from these. I emptied out my last dozen out so capsules into hot water. It smells like nothing. I'm not a scientist so I won't say there isn't any saffron in these capsules, but I don't be buying again.

Really works for me!
I take this supplement primarily for mood and can tell a difference when I don't take it. It has really helped since going off HRT! This is a "must have" for me!

Terrible heartburn
I was hopeful it would work.But after 8 days of use I developed terrible heartburn. All day. Couldn't eat anything without have heartburn. Stopped using it and 2 days later no heartburn.
