I have bought only one pair of Promark sticks in the past ten years or so. I had been quite satisfied with Vater, Regal Tip and Vic Firth. But I decided to grab a pair of these 5A Promark sticks (oval wood tip) from Amazon, especially because they were at a special low price. They are everything I'd hoped they would be. They felt great in my hands and I loved the finish. The weight was perfect too. The sticks were also flawless; perfectly straight, and they were exact twins of each other. I'm a fan of the logo too. Though logos are unimportant, I tend to look at what the stick printing looks like and where it is on the stick, and Promark does it just right. I like a good clean sound on my cymbals, and these gave me that sound. Though it was subtle, I was comparing the sound with my other 5A sticks, and I liked the Promark better. I felt like I got a bit more articulation than my other 5A's. These are just fantastic all around sticks! I couldn't be happier.

ProMark (PM) doesn’t disappoint- used their Shira Kashi 5A sticks for a long time. Rock solid. Recently switched to PM 2A’s to work on finger control and blast beats. Was using a pair of older Rimshot 2A’s that felt too light. PM’s are thicker/heavier and give you a workout. Definitely strengthen your hands and endurance overall. Although a heftier stick, they’re very responsive to dynamics of soft to loud.

Unlike the more common acorn tip shape, these have a nice ping and cymbal bounce. For drumming without the need for heavier volume, these are wonderfully articulate. This is especially important in settings where drum volume doesn't need any more help from stick heaviness.

We bought these for my son cause he ran out of sticks and they are very good. He's using a pair that have not broken yet and lasted much longer than his maple sticks. I would buy these any day of the week.

Great stick. Suits my hands perfectly. It's short taper feels great on pads , snare and cymbals .has an awesome punch and clarity. Was delivered on time. Never dissatisfied with Amazon. Amazon is the way to go for sticks.

Strong well balanced drum sticks.

finition parfaite comme toujours chez pro mark. ce sont les plus grosses baguettes que je possède, vraiment énormes et lourdes (c'est de l'hickory !) ; on trouve les SD2 maple (érable) chez pro-mark, aussi grosses mais plus légères et moins denses, plus moelleuses sur les cymbales. pour ces 2B en hickory on les trouvera extra si on est un cogneur, super chouette en jeu rock pour traverser les amplis des copains et leur en mettre plein les oreilles ! elles tiennent bien en mains, les crashs sont hyper puissants, ça rebondit bien sur les peaux, vraiment agréables pour les roulements et les moulins, ça se fait tout seul, vu le poids elles reviennent très vite sous les paumes et les doigts se musclent plus vite. je ne suis pas cogneur mais pour moi ce sont des baguettes géniales pour s'entrainer sur pad et délier ses doigts et ses poignets. pour le jeu style jazz, je prends les SD2 maple.
