I like these because they hold better tan velcro curlers. And they dry faster because they let more air un under the hair. I had very cheep set from dollar store and could not find more. These are petter quality then he first set. But they are inexpensive plastic and I imagine will break easy. The spikes that hold the hair are longer. So I can see why it would be a problem with long hair getting tangles. As with any curlers people with long hair would have trouble getting the external clip to fit if the hair is thick and long. I have medium length hair that is thin so I have no issues.i use these with an inflatable drying hood and works great, dries fast.

Nice size. Good value. A couple were unusable because the size was smaller then the others.

Good quality. Sturdy. I am pleased with the rollers. I definitely recommend them. I use a 1-1/4" curling iron, so I ordered the same size roller in pink.
