Quantum Entanglement for Babies (Baby University)

Genius baby!!
My 3 yr old LOVES this series. We have 6 books in the series so far. He’s got them all memorized. He could tell anyone all about how you need lift and thrust to go to the moon, and that “He” stands for Helium, and that a particle must travel the shortest path through curved space. It’s pretty funny to hear my 3 yr old say, “Mom, can we read Nuclear Physics before I go to bed?” When reading Quantum Entanglement, my husband was like, “I don’t get it.” But our boy understands. “The particles are entangled. They are always going to be the same color.” What a fun series of books. Our whole family enjoys them, and as a girl who never did very well in Science class, I am glad my son is getting a head start learning things I struggled to understand. We will surely add to our collection of Chris Ferrie books.

HIlarious
The book itself isn't hilarious: the concept is. It's a standard, hard-paged baby book that should stand up to use when your baby reaches that period when they're fascinated with just turning pages. The content is almost irrelevant. There's lots of colors, simple shapes, and smiley faces to amuse babies. The text is simple, about one line per page and any parent can use whatever vocal inflection they want when reading to their baby. They usually find that enough to be amused.

My 20month year old Daughter now talks about Alice & Bob
I am a fan of all of Chris Ferrie’s books. He has done a wonderful thing. This one however really stands out. As this is an _incredibly_ difficult concept that takes many of us YEARs to understand. To tackle such a topic in this format was very brave and likely heavily advised against when proposed =)Ferrie does a simply magnificent job on the topic. If the media writing about quantum entanglement today had just this simple understanding provided in this book we would all be better off. Most importantly it takes the fear out of a challenging topic so that you and your child can graduate to more and more complex explanations of a topic that to many seems very intimidating with confidence and eagerness.Highly Recommended to all Humans** as much as I try my Labrador can’t get past the “this is a ball” part

Want a good baby? Start the learning early!
My grandma always said "it is crucial to veritably steep an infant in concepts of quantum mechanics to ensure best results." Well, grandma would have been all about this little gem, let me tell you. This book is great and fun and its author is absolutely brilliant at boiling down ridiculously complex subjects into adorably simple foundational introductions that non-scientist adults can follow and attempt to comprehend right alongside their toddlers.

This book makes parents feel stupid...
I feel that this book over-simplified things a bit too much. I had to do a-lot of research to answer the questions my 10-month old had after reading this. Plus, I had hoped to really connect with him over science, you know, try to be interested in the same things as he is...pacifiers, eating cat food, quantum theory...but now he just goes off with these big words and I just feel my eyes glaze over and I start thinking about Cheerios. I would return it, but he's already chewed off a corner so...I'll just have to hire him a tutor or something.

Great for Nerd Parents and Babies
I'm a meteorologist and my sister is a mechanical engineer, so when I came across this series of books while shopping for my new nephew, I had to grab them all. While the illustrations are minimalist, it doesn't matter because this is for an infant. They're solidly constructed to where a baby can't destroy them. They're honestly more about being a nerd and giving them to other nerd parents. My sister thinks they're great and these should last for many more nieces and nephews to come. Science!

Amazing (for the kids!)
I just want to say that I bought these books for my 18 month old for a laugh (his dad is an engineer and I am a physical chemist) and now they are he only thing he will read. Until these, books were just toys he could be destructive with. My guess is the extremely simple illustrations in these books (white backgrounds with a single colored object) give him something easy to focus. He went from throwing books to pulling these off the shelf himself and pointing and “reading” to himself calmly. Lol!

Not up to the standard of the Baby University
I really like this series of books (Baby University). Generally, the books have well balanced between having accurate, engaging content and compelling pictures. This makes the books great for all ages (including infants). However, this book does not live up to the standard of the series. There are only a handful of pictures which are reused throughout the book and frankly some of them (the faces) are pretty terrible. The writing is tedious, repetitive, and very dry. This is not a horrible book, but there are much better books in the Baby University series. I recommend you skip this one unless you plan to buy every book in the series.

Be sure your kids are 15+ before buying
Too heavy concept to be understood by kids.. still they have tried to simplify but not done enough

genial!
Habe schon lange ein Buch gesucht um das Physik Thema meines Mannes zu verstehen. Hier habe ich eines gefunden, dass sowohl meiner kleinen Tochter als auch mir das Thema erklärt. Tolles Buch!
