They have a hidden compartment on the bottom. At least it was hidden for me.

Heard great things about Kinectic Sand, thought it was magnetic and helped with cleanup, but for all intents and purposes, it's kinda still sand. It acts like a non-neutonian fluid, solidifying when you apply force or pressure, but the moment you stall, it falls apart. It makes cleanup a little difficult, and leaves sand on your hands when you're done. Still, a lot less messy than real sand. I would recommend getting a bucket or pit to play it in.
