DroneGuard BP 250

As a Mavic Pro owner, it is important to keep my device not only safe, but portable. It is necessary to be mobile in the event that I want to fly somewhere other than my backyard. I have tried other carrying cases for my MP, and although they hold my drone and a few other accessories, I am always finding myself with a backpack full of other gear as well. this backpack eliminates that need. I can fit my drone, five batteries, a charger, powerbank, radio controller, spare blades, assorted lens covers, storage cards, cables, ipad, laptop, and all of my other accessories as well as necessaries like snacks and water. Everything needed for a good day hike to that secluded mountain lake, or just a quick drive to the beach. I am very impressed with the quality of the backpack, the zippers seem like they're quality, material is heavy duty, plenty of pockets and storage areas, detachable organizers for things like propellers or sd cards or whatever, removable velcro separators to customize your storage space to exactly your needs. It's a must purchase if you are planning on being an active MP pilot, or even if you are just sick of forgetting your gear due to having to pack it all separately. I foresee this backpack outlasting my drone. :)

This is perfect for travelling, hiking with your DJI Mavic Pro. You can fit your MacBook Pro as well along side with Camera or action camera. You can fit extra battery, cables and tons of thing that you can put in it. It's worth it. During rain, it's waterproof, just don't submerge it to water. Overall, it's a great bag. I used it for my DJI MavicPro when I go hiking, photography. It's easy to open at the airport when you pass on security check TSA. It's comfortable to carry. I can carry it whole day. If I want to off the grid for a weekend trip, I just pack all my gadget and drive.

So for the Air 2S, everything fits, tightly, but it fits. And you have to stack things on top of other things to make all the accessories fit inside. The laptop pouch works for 15” or smaller units. And, I have to slide my iPod Air along the side of the laptop to fit. The top pouch is great for wallets and car keys, too. But, the cell phone pouch won’t hold anything the size of an iPhone X if you have a protective case on the phone, but oh well, it fits in your pocket like normal! And the hard shell does provide decent protection to the drone and it’s toys… The suspension rig is very adjustable and comfortable, even in nasty holes up to your shooting location. And it travels on aircraft well. I like it for its compact and easy to handle size. It can even be stripped down and used to carry clothes when your drone doesn’t want to travel with you….

I bought this bag as a day backpack, so I can carry my drone, its accessories and other items in hikes, city tours and so on. Pros: Light Easy access to all the electronics Several compartments to optimize organization Good protection Compact It seems to be durable and well built Laptop and iPad compartment Some space for a jacket, rain cover, wallet and iPhone Organized space for smaller items, such as smaller batteries, cards, cables... Cons: I have not used it long enough to evaluate that. I will update this post once I get more information. Other thoughts: I liked the organization so much, that I have been storing all my electronics in it. Update (Mar/25/2019): I have now done a few international trips with this bag (Philippines, Belize and Mexico) and the more I use it, the more I like it. Going through security is really easy, since all items are easy to see in the x-ray and easy to access. The bag fits in the upper compartment, even in small planes.

This thing is amazing for $35. You will not find a better drone case or case for really anything electronically. It is completely customizable and you can make it fit pretty much anything. Not only can I fit what I mentioned in the title, I can also fit a 2 L hydration bag next to the iPad along with a couple freezer gel bags to keep it cool. There’s also extra pockets on the outside, one on the shoulder strap for a phone that fits my LG G6 just fine. There are also two pockets, One on each side, that will hold extra batteries or a water bottle or something. This is very high-quality, padded all around so it’s comfortable to wear and protects everything inside. Again, a true steel for $35. Buy it now, don’t even look at any other brand. They could easily sell this for $75- $100.

This thing is awesome for traveling. Good design for quick access and good organization. I've flown with it twice now and TSA didn't give me any trouble. Fits easily under the seat in front of you on the plane. I can quickly get to everything when I see wildlife and need to set up in a hurry. I just wish it was a little bigger. The tablet/laptop pocket is a little too tight and could use more padding. My screen protector on my iPad cracked when I had it in there with a 13" macbook. I also find myself needing to bring a second backpack when I take it out because I don't have enough room for my extras like landing pad(which doesn't fit in the laptop pocket at all), portable batteries, etc. Seems minor but trying to hike/climb rocks near the ocean is a pain in the *** with two backpacks. Water bottle side pockets only hold smaller, skinnier bottles. My 40 oz hydroflask won't fit in there. Despite these shortcomings I'm still using it because it's so good for the mavic 2. Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but so far, so good. Will update if anything breaks prematurely.

Superbe sac, très pratique. Je ne voulais pas un sac trop et j'ai eu peur qu'il soit trop petit en le voyant à son arrivée mais en faite il a la taille parfaite pour tout accueillir. Et j'ai de quoi rajouter pas mal d'affaires encore avec ces rangements bien pensé. Super qualité. Il manque peut être une petite housse imperméable mais sinon il est parfait pour moi, très léger également ce qui est un très bon point.

Nach zahllosen Versuchen mit anderen Rucksäcken und Lösungen habe ich mich trotz des verhältnismäßig hohen Preises für den Lowepro Droneguard BP 250 entschieden. Ich hatte zwar für meine Mavic Pro und andere Gerätschaften bereits Hardcases, war es aber leid im großen Wanderrucksack mit den Cases Tetris zu spielen und nach der richtigen Ausrüstung zu wühlen. Der Lowepro Droneguard eignet sich durch die individuell einsetzbaren Klett-Trennwände optimal für die Mavic Pro und weiteres Zubehör. Die Anordnung kann je nach Ausrüstung flexibel angepasst werden. Das große Hauptfach ist über einen Reißverschluss auf der Vorderseite zugänglich und gestattet einen angenehmen Überblick über das mitgeführte Equipment. Ich habe darin die Mavic Pro, die Fernbedienung, zwei Ersatzakkus, eine GoPro, ein 3-Achsen Gimbal, eine große Powerbank und eine Stirnlampe untergebracht. Die gepolsterten Trennwände sorgen dafür dass alles gut geschützt an seinem Platz bleibt, wenn auch manchmal etwas beengt. Die große "Klappe" des Hauptfachs ist verstärkt und schützt damit nicht nur den Inhalt, sondern eignet sich auch ideal als Startplattform für die Mavic und kleinere Drohnen, wenn man beispielsweise auf unebenem Grund oder im hohen Gras unterwegs ist. An der Außenseite sind Laschen z.B. für Gurte, Klettverschlüsse oder Karabiner angebracht, an denen man zusätzliche Ausrüstung befestigen kann. Ich habe mit Klettband mein Kamera-Stativ daran befestigt. An der Innenseite der Klappe ist mit Klett eine kleine flache Tasche mit Gummilaschen und einem Reißverschluss-Fach angebracht, hier habe ich SD-Karten und USB-Kabel untergebracht. Oberhalb des Hauptfachs gibt es noch zwei weitere Fächer: Ein kleines Fach mit eingenähten Taschen für Zubehör wie Kamera-Akkus, Filter, etc., sowie ein größeres Fach in dem man problemlos eine Systemkamera mit Objektiv (bei mir die Sony Alpha 6000), Geldbeutel, Handy, Schlüssel, usw. unterbringen kann. Das letzte, flache Fach am Rücken bietet noch Stauplatz für einen Laptop, dieses Fach habe ich aber nie genutzt, weil ich unterwegs keinen Laptop benötige. An beiden Seiten des Rucksacks sind dehnbare, halbhohe offene Halter für Trinkflaschen oder ein Stativ angebracht. Das Stretch-Band sorgt dafür, dass die Taschen im ungefüllten Zustand kaum sichtbar sind, mit Inhalt bestückt lassen sie sich aber weit dehnen. Ich habe die Halter maximal ausgereizt, indem ich jeweils eine 1,5L Nalgene Trinkflasche (echte Brocken) darin untergebracht habe. Diese werden sicher gehalten, mehr geht aber definitiv nicht. Am linken Träger bietet der Rucksack noch eine Klett-Tasche für's Smartphone, auch die erwies sich als ungemein praktisch, wenn man mal schnell einen Blick auf die Navigations-App werfen oder ein Foto schießen möchte. Am rechten Träger ist eine Schlaufe für Trinksysteme angebracht, wenn man sein teures Equipment unbedingt mit einer gefüllten Trinkblase in einen Rucksack stecken möchte :-) Ich persönlich habe darauf verzichtet, deshalb die Trinkflaschen. An beiden Trägern befindet sich noch jeweils eine Schlaufe, an denen ich z.B. mein Garmin GPS-Gerät mit einem Karabiner angebracht habe. Die übrige Ausstattung ist für Rucksäcke dieser Preisklasse nicht weiter außergewöhnlich: Dünn gepolsterte, aber bequeme Schultergurte, gut verarbeitete Schlaufen, Reißverschlüsse und Schnallen, Brustgurt, Hüftgurt und Polster am Rücken für eine mittelmäßige Belüftung. Durch die ausgefeilte Aufteilung und die Ordnung im Rucksack bekommt man deutlich mehr Ausrüstung unter, als man dem "Kleinen" ansieht. Hier nochmal eine Auflistung des Equipments, das ich darin untergebracht habe: - Mavic Pro mit 2x Ersatzakkus und Fernbedienung - GoPro mit Tauchercase - 3-Achsen Gimbal - Große Powerbank - Stirnlampe - Selfie-Stick - Gorilla Pod - Sony Alpha 6000 mit Weitwinkel-Objektiv, Case und Filtern - Zahllose USB-Kabel, Speicherkarten, Snacks, Schlüssel und anderes Kleinzeug - 2x Nalgene 1,5L Trinkflaschen - Kamera-Stativ (mit Klettband außen an Schlaufen) - Garmin GPS Gerät (mit Karabiner außen an Schlaufe) Wenn ich mit diesem Rucksack auf Tour gehe, habe ich alles dabei was ich für meine Zwecke benötige. Über das große Hauptfach hat man bereits Zugang zum Großteil der Ausrüstung und durch die Trennwände hat alles seinen festen Platz. Die Verarbeitung ist wie von Lowepro gewohnt einwandfrei und hat schon einiges mitgemacht - einen Rucksack hat man schließlich nicht zum angucken. Allen die ein ähnliches Anwendungsprofil wie ich haben, kann ich den "Droneguard BP 250" nur empfehlen und gebe guten Gewissens 5 verdiente Sterne.
