Best post-op brace for me!
I am very happy I purchased this brace. I just had surgery on my fingers and my palm (where my stitches are located) is pretty sensitive so I thought having something to protect it would be best. This brace is easy to put on and comfortable to wear. The thumb area just needs to be adjusted to ensure that it is not too loose.I highly recommend especially for anyone who has had carpal tunnel or trigger finger surgery.

Comfortable
I use this brace overnight to keep my fist from clenching while I sleep. The fabric and cushioning is very comfortable, and does not overheat my skin. It helps to relieve the pain in my fingers. I removed the stiff inner support because it was not shaped correctly to fit my hand. It works fine without it inside.

Strong material
Product is very durable anf stabalizes hand but thumb strap is not attached to brace and falls off easily. The brace does support hand and provides some comfort. The material is all cloth . The outside may have to be hand washed and let it air dry to protect it's form. I wouldn't recommend washing and drying brace repeatedly.

Awesome.
I dislocated two fingers, the two next to the pinky finger. I tossed and turned quite a bit at night, and before I bought this, my fingers felt like they had been hit with a hammer when I would wake up. This is a solid product and really helps your hand stay in a natural position and a protected position. Perfect fit.

Does not hold fingers well.
I have nerve damage and my smallest 3 fingers they want to ball up and need to be held straight. This brace does a horrible job at that. The one pice of velcro over fingers is is in wrong position. The thumb hold is in wrong position, I cut it off so my fingers will nestel up higher into velcro strap. Still me little finger wants to curl up and out of brace. But here's the worst part.As an older man I have to get up several time at night.Trying to take off brace to use my walker, and run to bathroom is a nightmare. The small velcro straps are hard to find in the dark room to unhook, because a light on would disturb my wife. The small velcro straps are also hard to attach because their is such a small footprint to match. Then they add too the insult by putting lable sticking out of velcro tab and it folds onto velcro blocking its path! Yes I cut it off, but it showes a attitude of the manufacturer that they don't care. The velcro should be big wide strip with a big grab handel. And the sizing needs to be reworked.I believe i may be wrong using this brace, it is for a wrist problem and not hand problem. I've found the products offered by the health care industry are generally alfull, created by people who don't use them.

Might work for some, the shape and size didn't work for me.
While the BraceAbility Resting Hand Splint can be a useful tool for individuals recovering from injuries or surgery, there are a few things that could be improved upon. One issue with this splint is its sizing. While it is adjustable, the sizing may not be suitable for all individuals. Some users have reported that the splint may be too small or too large for their hand, which can affect its effectiveness and overall comfort.Another issue is the material used in the construction of the splint. While it is made with breathable and lightweight materials, some users have reported that it can become uncomfortable and hot after extended use. This may be a concern for those who need to wear the splint for long periods of time.Additionally, the design of the splint may not be suitable for all users. Some users have reported that the splint may be too bulky or cumbersome, making it difficult to perform daily tasks while wearing it.That being said, the BraceAbility Resting Hand Splint does have some positive features. It is designed to keep the hand and wrist in a neutral position, which can be beneficial for individuals recovering from injuries or surgery. It is also easy to put on and take off, and its adjustable straps allow for a customized fit.Overall, while the BraceAbility Resting Hand Splint can be a helpful tool for some individuals, there are some sizing and comfort issues that may need to be addressed. Potential users should consider these factors before purchasing the splint.

Comfy cushiony brace to reduce strain on forearm overnight
When I sleep, I tend to bend my wrists in a way that aggravates repetitive stress injury of forearm and wrist. I had a brace like this before and lost it.This brace has a soft terry cloth exterior that is removable and can be machine washed. There is a metal insert that can be bent in a different position if it is not comfortable out of the box (this product was just fine for me - no adjustment needed). I am looking forward the waking up tomorrow without aching forearms.
