UPDATE - Safety pins are light duty and work great on delicate/light weight material
UPDATE - MY Error, I thought these were heavy-duty safety pins [I DID NOT read the title closely]. I was searching for heavy-duty pins and these popped up in my search. I have to compliment this company, immediately after placing my original 1-star review, the company contacted me to offer a full refund [they did NOT ask me to change my review or offer any perks!!!]. I also did not notice an issue with the points being dull as some reviews noted. For the thoughtful, and unexpected offer from the company to make my order acceptable, I am updating my review. The company was not aware I had already initiated a return with Amazon. ORIGINAL - I purchased these safety pins hoping they would be strong enough to hold medium-thick cotton material together. They will not, when the slightest pressure is applied to the cloth the pins will bend and come apart. They were the perfect size for what I needed, but the strength of the metal was sadly lacking. These would only be acceptable for very lightweight cloth.

Great for thick fabric.
These are super nice. I like to sort scraps of fabric and then pin them together by color. Sometimes the layers get very think, so I needed extra big safety pins, as I was getting tired of being poked by straight pins. They are good quality. I wish they were a little sharper. That is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars, but they work well with a little bit of effort pushing through about 8-10 layers of good quality cotton. I would order them again.

Hard to push through fabric due to dull tips.
Large and sturdy but almost impossible to push through fabric. I would not purchase again, they are almost useless as a safety pin.
