Britanium BRP74 Padlock

Possibly the most secure lock that have ever handled. However there is a negative; the width of the outer casing body does not allow it to be used for many applications. There is insufficient space between my shed door and the latch/hasp eye, this lock is very wide and the locking pin cannot line up with it's intended eye-hole. It's a good lock and I'll use it for something else

Good product

This lock is brilliant, tough, slick and bombproof. You want security - this is it. But - there’s a tiny drawback. It wouldn’t fit it the staples on my doors. You need to measure free space in your stable and the distance from top of the lock to underside of the lock pin , as on my pic Otherwise it’s a great piece of kit

Worked well straight out the box but a couple of days in bad weather and it became a bit hard to insert key. Quick shot of WD40 and it's been good ever since. One down side to that is, the lock ejects on a spring so needs to be loose in whatever you're locking, if it's a good fit, and slippy with WD40 it makes it very hard to pull the bar out, as it isn't knurled on the end. Other than that, good lock.

Good price lock seems to be strong

Pin got rusted during outside use and very very difficult to open . Also as pin is recessed as you would think is a good idea ( as I did) for security, over the winter it froze in place with rain and cold and could not get the padlock open. Stainless steel should not rust !!
