Rubik's Mini Classic 2x2 Colour Match Pocket Puzzle

Another quality product from the Rubik range. This product twists with ease and it’s the perfect size for adult and junior hands. I’ve purchased mine for my New Years Resolution, 2 years ago I spent a few months trying to solve the standard cube, which I can now solve. I’m looking forward to conquering this puzzle. Time seems to fly by when playing with the cube and I found it to be good exercise for the old grey matter (brain). If I get half as much joy out of trying to solve this, as I did the standard one, then I’m in for a good time. These Rubik puzzles are the best value for money, you’ll never get bored… once solved it then becomes a challenge to see how fast it can be done. I have a speed cube and this is just as smooth and easy to use as that.

I learned how to solve the 3*3 Rubik cube during the covid lockdown. It took a while but eventually got there and was pleased to get my initial solving times of about 20 mins down to 2-3 mins. I'm no speed cuber and will never be but am quite happy to be able to solve the 3*3 in that time. I bought the basic 3*3 then moved up to a magnetic speed cube as i progressed which makes a massive difference in speed and precision. I probably do the 3*3 a couple of times a day during tv ad breaks. Im late 60s so need something to keep my brain working ! Its nice to be able to do something that the grand children haven't yet managed to do !! I now have the 4*4 cube and again a new challenge although some of the algorithms are similar. After a couple of mornings ive managed to solve it twice using internet help guides but as with the 3*3 after time will remember the newer moves for the 4*4 cube and do away with the guides. My only gripe with this new 4*4 is that it is just like the first cube i started with in that it is quite clumsy to make moves compared to a magnetic speed cube which i will no doubt now purchase. once i get the 4*4 magnetic cube i will probably put this one back in its box like i did with my original 3*3.

Very Good quality product.

Great fun and keeps my partner occupied for a while, though annoyingly she has now gotten cracking it under 10 minutes. It would be 5 star but it feels a bit flimsy compared to the 3x3 cube.

The gift that keeps on giving: endless frustration, rage and unsavoury language, mostly. Technically it's a beautiful piece of work, all the pieces turn smoothly and it's not too big in the hand. The presentation box is attractive and the price is reasonable. Just the gift for someone who likes to spend hours playing with something that might never be completed
