I tried this for the first time, I’d never foiled before. I used them on some chairs I reupholstered. It came out beautifully. I have a love hate thing with foil though. It is tricky until you get the hang of it. This foil went on nicely and wasn’t flakey which was great. I wanted a nice even application. The oil was also good. I diluted the oil as specified first but didn’t feel like it gave me enough top coat coverage and the chair still seemed to oxidize. I then applied it without the water and it was perfect. It didn’t dry oily either. I give this a 10 out of 10 and will most likely purchase it again. I’d like to try another color maybe silver or rose gold.

This kit is very complete, with everything you need to do gilding. I will enjoy making beautiful illuminated lettering projects with this! It is a great affordable kit for beginners and pros alike!

I loved that this kit came with everything step necessary to complete the project. Unfortunately, for me, there weren’t enough sheets to complete the large full size mirror I was working on so I did have to go to the store to pick up more.

It is my first time using gold leaf sheets. After a few tries, I got the hang of it and the results were pleasing. Gold leaf sheets are manageable to use however, some kind of instructions would be helpful. Each sheet is between a protective paper which made picking them very easy.

I applied it to an art piece. It is not easy, You need to be able to pick up the sheet Preferably after you pass the brush through your hair once, this will attach the Delicate but beautiful gold leaf sheet to it to then take it to where you need to apply it to. It will twist and turn till you get the hang of it. It flies away so make sure you Are not close to the a/c vent... or a fan! I have used it on furniture ot is a bottle easier unless you want to to detail an art piece. But I love it anyway!

For the price it was good for adding to art paintings or crafts but not furniture. It didn’t smooth out on furniture as some other brands. It was extremely thin and not as durable as others I’ve used. Definitely not good on glass.

Used this for my thesis project. Not too hard to use, but make sure that material that you’re trying to gild isn’t tacky at all or it will also stick to stuff you haven’t put the adhesive on! I didn’t even think about that when I did mine but it still worked out alright. Also, be careful with the glue because if you spill it it’s so hard to get out of fabric. But that was definitely user error lol.
