I purchased this in the spring of 2020 to put over my wood garden structure that gets full sun all day and evening in thw summer (which was scorching my tomatoes!). We are just now replacing for spring 2024!!! We are in Ohio, where this poor shade cloth has been out 24/7/365 through during rain storms, brutal winds, and of course who know how many feet of snow lol! It just started to tear in the middle at the end of last summer (2023), it's January 2024 and it's still whole with just some tears across the mid section amd some fraying around those. It's secured to the wood frame through the grommet holes and has a small board on top in the middle to prevent it from ballooning up in bad wind. I am needless to say unbelievably impressed with the quality of this thing! I'm ordering the same brand again because I thought I'd get a season out of it but it's exceeded my expectations so they definitely earned my repeat business!

Exactly what I wanted

Shade cloth arrived quickly. It was light and easy to unfold. I ordered a 20 x 36 and it was in perfect condition except for one small hole by one of the grommets . I'm using it in the Florida Keys to shade my wife's flower garden. And it's working great. For the price , It seems to be well-made. I'll update after it goes through a few storms. I attached it to a pole framework with cable ties through each grommet, and also in between each grommet . At the time of this review it has been up for a full week with no problems no tears. It appears to be well-made .

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this product in 2020 and am still using it. We took it indoors the first 2 winters but after that it has been up 24/7. It is just now starting to rip a bit near the grommets we are using to hold it up. Very impressed.

Works great i use it for shade. It still lets water thru, air, a little sunlight, and also lets some heat out. Easy to use and put up

As you can see from my pix the plants are happy in there shade covers.on the second one you can see the sun and how much shade it is providing . Love the shade cloth there are amazing . Sewn very good has eye let’s to tie down .. it’s amazing what a little shade will do so the plants don’t get scalded in our Florida sun .. I have had mine a couple months are they are holding up great in our sun ,wind. We have had storms not a problem ..so easy to install My son helped me to throw it over the arch way we made out of cement form wire you can see in the first one the type of arch we built … last year the sun burnt my plants and it was very little lived and what did make just did not produce but with the shade cloth as you can see there doing great I have tomatoes and the cukes are blooming and I have a couple of small ones

Looks good at first sight.. BUT craftsmanship is fragile! Breaks apart easy!!!

I have been buying this product for a few years now. The most recent order has changed a bit. The green color is slightly darker green. The coverage is a bit less. In other words, the old product claimed 70% shade and the new product claimed 70% shade, but I'm saying the new product may be more like 55-60% - basically less shade is provided. Sigh.

I sued it for an overhead shade while out camping. Four aluminum tents poles at the four corners and some paracord to tie it to homemade rebar ground pegs. It has lasted the entire summer and looks virtually new. Couldn't be happier with it.
