Absolutely! I teach 5th grade (10-11 year olds) science and use them ALL of the time! Easy to use, and Micro:bit Make code offers a lot of really fun simple projects to get you started!

Q: What is the difference between go kit and single board? Single board is more expensive whereas go kit has battery and usb cable too?

Go Kit has a battery case as well as a short USB cable. I don't know why the single board is more expensive. Different sellers maybe?

Q: Does it work with Tynker?

Not with the free Tynker content. As far as I know the Micro:Bit activities in Tynker require a subscription.
