This long-sleeved fishing shirt arrived today and my first impressions are very good! This is well designed (under arm and side panel venting, as well as face optional cover) and the materials used in it's construction appear to be high quality. For a perspective on fit, I am 5'11" tall, weigh 170 and a Medium is a good, relaxed fit. Looking forward to trying it in the field!

I don't like the feeling of sticky sun screen so I like to wear long sleeve shirts instead. And what's great about this shirt is it has a hood to protect my head. The thin material makes it comfortable in the summer, as opposed to a thick cotton shirt. Very stretchy and soft, no resistance to any movement whatsoever. It does dry fast if you're in a dry climate, but it also gets wet fast if it starts raining.The face gaiter has a mesh fabric over the mouth and nose area, which makes it easy to breath, and may protect you from the sun, but it's not like a face mask where it protects agains airborne particles. The same mesh fabric is also on the sides under the arms that make it breathable.The face/neck gaiter is also not shaped in any way so it might feel a little tight around the face if you're wearing it long term. For me it smushes my nose so I don't really use it. I mainly use the hood to protect my ears and neck and wear a hat over it to protect my face from the sun. But the face gaiter is great to have for annoying mosquitoes.The fabric is pretty thin so this white color, especially when wet, will expose your body, in case any of you out there are particular about your image when the shirt is wet. Which brings me to a little hack in dry climates, and dry climates only, if it's hot outside, soak the entire shirt with water and wring out the excess then wear it.This process will keep you cool as the water evaporates, and just keep a spray bottle around and keep wetting the shirt to keep you cool. This shirt is the perfect material to do this. It's the same concept as an evaporative cooler so this only works in dry climates, in humid areas not so much.Although I don't use it often, I like the little strip of material that goes over your thumb so the sleeves don't ride up your arm. It's a nice option to have, but it also doesn't get in the way if you don't want to use it.Pretty easy to clean, I came across some engine grease and stained part of the sleeve, I just dabbed some laundry detergent on the greased area before putting it in the wash and it came right off. I chose white because it stays the coolest, as opposed to dark colors that absorb heat. Overall if I'm going to be out in the sun this is my go to shirt! Definitely recommend.

It was my go-to during an all-day crabbing trip on the 4th of July, and it performed incredibly well. The fit and comfort is perfect for me. The mesh of the gaiter is very easy to breathe through. The gaiter itself stays in place and isn't too tight. I've had sunshirts from other brands hands down like this the best, regardless of price.

Nice loose fit shirt. Hood is nice and does stay in place. Has thumb straps to help pull sleaves in a coat.

PERFECT!!!!Sizing is dead on, fits loose but not too loose and enough room for a t-shirt underneath on cooler ride days. Love the thumb hooks at sleeve openings to keep wrists protected from the sun. Lots of air vents running entire length of both sleeves so keeps you dry when pushing the envelope when cycling. Neck/face cover is awesome covering your neck from direct sun exposure. Hood is also for sun protection and is thin enough to fit under cycling helmet or cap. Overall an excellent piece of clothing for UV PROTECTION when your out walking, cycling or many other outside activities.
