Since 2020 the pandemic, I've been using the Belkin wireless adapter for a wifi internet connection on my PC. 5 years I was struggling with streaming media and running tasks on my computer, that depended on a speedy internet connection. I was considering getting a cat 6 ethernet cable to run to my router to resolve the problem, though I didn't want to do all that work. I bought this card, thankfully able to install it to my computer motherboard, installed both antennas, and the drivers for wifi and bluetooth, and my whole experience changed! I have no problems so far. Speeds have dramatic changed, never thought this was possible for me! I give it a solid 5 stars, and will install it for my next high end gaming PC build! Definitely recommend if you want to save yourself the ethernet cable routing! the old speed test was conducted with the Belkin adapter, it CONSTANTLY lost internet connection, but the wifi card stays connected, and runs wifi 6 (with the new screenshot speed test showing 270 mbps) This thing is the TRUTH folks!!!! its worth the 30 bucks!

Easy to install. Had to look for "Archer TX55E" driver, not AX3000. Once driver is located and installed, it is working as expected. It is giving my 14 year old desktop couple of new tricks (wireless LAN + Bluetooth connectivity). Connecting to my home Wifi network was easy and even connected to my old Jabra Link wiressless speaker/mic. Who know going wireless from wired will boost throughput... (Yes my desktop is very OLD) Let's hope this device lasts 3-5 years :)

I needed a Wifi card because the router is in the basement of my apartment and I'm on the second floor. There was no way to do an ethernet connection because I can't drill any holes and I didn't want a super long cable running all the way to my room upstairs. I decided to give the WiFi card a chance and I'm happy that I did. The connection is stable and the speed is good. I get about 300 - 400 Mbps. I mainly use my computer for youtube, watching streams, and gaming. I haven't had any issues doing these activities. I can watch in 720p without buffering. Gaming is smooth with an average of about 25ms latency with the game I play on US eastern servers. The installation of the card was pretty easy, but if you have a large GPU like most gamers probably do these days, just keep in mind that the Wifi card might not fit into the PCIe slot just below the GPU. Luckily, the Wifi card works with various sizes, so since my GPU was blocking my PCIe x1 slot, I used an extra PCIe x16 slot located further down from my motherboard. The Wifi card obviously won't take up the entire slot, but it still works. So make sure that you got some extra slots just in case. I haven't tried the bluetooth function because I don't use any bluetooth devices on my computer. It is optional to install it. Overall, if you're unable to connect to your router using an ethernet connection, I think this WiFi card is worth trying. I'm happy with it's performance so far.

Wifi and bluetooth both work very well, especially for only $30. Note that the bluetooth functionality requires you to to connect the card to a USB header on your motherboard (it includes a cord to do this), the Bluetooth WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU DO THIS (if you only care about the wifi you can just plug it into the pcie slot). The driver installation was very frustrating, which is why I took a star off. The drivers are included on a CD, but who uses a cd reader in 2025. You can just download the drivers off of the tp link website (if you look up tx55 drivers on google you can find them), but the file sometimes won’t unzip in windows, so you might have to unzip to google drive them using a third-party website. It took me a few hours to get the drivers figured out but once I did the card works smoothly. Installation is super finicky and a bit frustrating, but especially for $30 this is a very effective, high-speed wifi and Bluetooth card.

Works great! Steaming, gaming, the speed (over 1Gbps) is without issue. The latency is fabulously low. Bluetooth works great too. Handles both simultaneously without a problem.

While it works perfectly fine on Windows 10, I want to focus more on Linux in this review. I'm sure there's some people out there who switched to Linux after Microsoft decided it was somehow a good idea to end updates for Windows 10. After testing it on a few different Debian-based distros, like Linux Mint and Ubuntu, I can confirm that it works perfectly well with them. Installation into my desktop was easy, and only took a couple of minutes. In my case, I did need to insert the included disk into my PC to download the drivers since it didn't work out of the box (you can also download them from their website). Once that was done, the WiFi works perfectly, and I had a strong connection to the 5 GHz signal that's on the floor above me. Unfortunately, my motherboard didn't have the connection needed to use Bluetooth, so I can't say whether or not that works well. Overall, this is a fantastic wireless card for the price. It works with both Windows (10 & 11) and Linux, which is perfect for those who are interested in setting up dual booting for your PC. Before purchasing, make sure your motherboard has the USB connector needed for Bluetooth operation since it won't work without it.

I highly recommend getting a proper wifi card like this instead of a USB adapter. My connection used to be extremely weak or the USB slot would drop the connection for a few seconds, and if you are playing an online game everything will freeze/crash. After installing this, which was very easy to do, and downloading the drivers online, I have extremely good and stable connection. No issues and very fast speed. Price is extremely reasonable as a USB is not much cheaper sometimes.
