It did come in many boxes but that is one of the reasons I liked it. It was so easy to put together, it took longer to get the existing double recliner out of my RV than it did to put this new couch together. I love that each section has storage and that it can be configured a multiple different ways. It is comfortable, sturdy and beautiful. I researched it many, many months before I purchased it. Almost didn't buy it due to one negative review, glad I overlooked one negative review. Would highly recommend it.

I have the three seat sofa with three ottomans, which were delivered in eight different boxes over two days. It was ridiculously simple to put the sofa together, and it is ridiculously simple to reconfigure it into any arrangement you like. The seats and ottomans have storage built in, which is fantastic for small spaces. The best part of this sofa is that the fabric is really pretty and very soft to the touch and the cushions are extremely comfortable. It's a great napping couch.

This is the second Honbay sofa I have purchased. The second one arrived on two different days (one day apart). I contacted the seller in a panic the first day when only half of the sofa arrived. She was so thoughtful and understanding, gave me the tracking numbers for the rest of the sofa, and explained that they were expected the following day. Honbay sofas are elegant in their design, simple to assemble, and sturdy. I love that the modules can be configured in different ways and the storage they provide. I highly recommend them and will purchase another as the need arises.

Easy to assemble; ottomans only need feet screwed on, the modular piece with a back has an additional four screws to fasten a part that allows the backrest to be attached and later removed. Two small removable brackets fasten the pieces together, allowing you to change the configuration of the pieces in minutes. There is storage in each piece, it is rather shallow (roughly 6" deep) since the attached cushion is thick. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that the feet are made of plastic. Looks much nicer than the pricetag implies. Update: The seat depth is quite shallow even for a 5’2” person. After 9 months the fabric looks great, but the cushions are no longer even. The “front” edge of the cushion is now compressed and an no longer firm. Luckily you can re-arrange or rotate the pieces to “wear” on another side of the cushion. I added a memory foam topper when guest sleep over. Works well. Update 2: It’s been close to 2 years since I got this modular sofa and it has not held up well. The cushions are uneven and compressed at the front edge from casual use, I’ve rotated each “cube” several times and it hasn’t helped. It is uncomfortable to sit on, the wood frame is noticeable. I’ve ordered a new sofa (not this brand).

All 7 boxes arrived together and quickly. More than enough parts for assembly, plus 3 quality Phillips head screw drivers. Which is the only tool needed for assembly. I’m a tiny 69 year old woman and was able to remove from boxes and assemble by myself. Including breaking down boxes, taking them to the dumpster, assembly and arrangement, it took me an hour and a half. I live in a camper trailer with slide outs. With the measurements given in the description, I created paper cut outs, 1” = 1’ and played with arrangements on a schematic I created of the area I have to work with, along with other pieces in that area. I came up with 4 different ways the furniture can be arranged and took a pic of each one, for reference. The furniture is perfect for campers! Campers should come with this furniture! Living in a beach area of Floridas, my main theme color is teal, for decorating. In the pics provided and viewed on my iPhone and iPad, the furniture I chose, appeared teal. In reality, it’s more blue. I can deal with that, but just a fair warning for those like me, looking for teal colored furniture. The storage in each piece is another wonderful bonus, especially for camper living. I’ve already put some bedding and towels in some of the pieces. Yes, this couch and ottoman set will double as my guest bed for visitors. I’ve only had the set for 4 days and have enjoyed lounging on it, watching TV. I’ve fallen asleep on it, pretty much every day, so far. lol. It’s quite comfy, in my opinion. I’m very happy with my purchase so far.

We bought this sofa based on pictures and reviews. We don’t hate the sofa but it is not what we expected. It came in 7 boxes over 3 days and is simple to assemble. In our opinion it’s a great sofa for a 1st apartment or a basement hangout but it is not substantial enough to be a center piece in a living room. It is a bit flimsy with the way it’s held together for example the arms move and with a good push or sitting down too hard could push apart. Each piece is connected by 2 metal joints. It is a lot lower than anticipated, the chaise is relatively short and the back is low; at least it was for us anyways. I’m 5’5” and my feet hang off the chaise and sitting up the back was just below my shoulder blades. Again, not a bad sofa just listing a few things to help others decide if this is the right sofa for them. I posted 2 pictures using our other sofa to compare.

It is on the firm side but very comfy. The material is soft and easy to wash. The storage seats are small but you can fit a comforter and a pillow in one. You can easily make the couch bigger but I like the way they displayed it on the site. It is So versatile! I bought it to use as a guest bed as well. one night is fine but I put a topper on it to soften it a bit. My guests said they slept fine either way. No noises when you roll in your sleep. I thought the price was definitely worth it.Enjoy!

This is a fantastic couch and a great idea. Having each piece with built in storage is very handy and the ability to just mix it all around is phenomenal. Honestly I'm kind of ruined for normal couches now. The cushions are a perfect mix of soft and firm to enjoy both sitting and sleeping on. The material feels nice to the touch and is very easy to clean. Even the screwdrivers they send to put it together are easily the best screwdrivers I've received with stuff like this. The only nit picky thing that comes to mind is the backs are a little loose when the couch isn't placed against a wall but that is easily solved with a little brace if it's something that bothers you.
