A mildly pleasant diversion
The book is beautifully illustrated with a moderately good plot, if you don't mind it diverting significantly from the events of the original book. However, the puzzles are mostly very easy for anyone used to puzzle books and they sometimes lack direction, for example are you looking for a destination or the line colour in the first puzzle? In the second, a passage described as south-eastern should be south-east of the house. Overall, this is a lovely looking book that takes 1-2 hours to complete, but serious puzzlers should look elsewhere.

Do not buy
Terrible puzzle book. Very childish and full of American spellings. Do not waste your money. There are better puzzle books and better books for fans of Jane Austen.
