I’ve tried several hdmi splitters for my pc and ps5 and this is the only one that actually works flawlessly. I’m so happy

So far, this item is exactly what I had hoped. It is easy to use and easy to setup.

Works good, using it for a ps5 and ps4. Tip for anyone wanting to do the same. It would not register the ps4 on and had to use the supplied power plug. Apparently the order of plugging in the power and hdmi does make a difference. You must plug the 5v power supply in first then the ps4 hdmi.

Great so far. Simple setup, easy to switch between devices and no image quality issues. I like how this is small as I did not need one with more than 2 ports.

So right out the gate the switch wasn’t able to auto detect which hdmi port had video signal. That’s okay it would’ve been cool but I was fine with having to manually change it. So I started out watching a 4K movie on AppleTv and it was good. The Dolby Vision and Dolby atmos. Through without issue. After 10 minutes decided to try out how it worked with my Sony 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player. I turned off the AppleTv and hit the power button on the Blu-ray player and after a good minute nothing happened so I manually switched it and there was picture. I started a 4K UHD movie and it seemed to be working. I had to pause the movie for a moment to take a call. When I came back less than 3 Minutes later the screen was black. I first figured my player had froze. (It can do that) but restarting it didn’t bring the picture back. I tried everything I could. I unplugged all the cables and devices and started from the beginning. I first checked to see if it was the port so I swapped the ports between the Apple TV and blue ray when that didn’t help I tried different HDMI cables and still black screen for Blu-ray and picture perfect for Apple TV. I began to worry maybe something was wrong with the Blu-ray player but when I plugged the original hdmi that I had used with it at the start and bypassed the switch it worked just fine so it was the switch. The little booklet says it doesn’t need an outside power source and while it may be true in a few cases I think that you’ll have better luck plugging it in. The switch may have have great tech on the inside but the exterior isn’t a great. It’s cheap plastic and I doesn’t handle heat well at all. I wanted this to work and I’ve heard great things about the brand so maybe in the future I’ll try them again but for now I’m gonna order another brand the reviews or at least the negative ones accurate. I already started the return it’s just not work it if I can only use one of the 2 hdmi ports.

We have used orei before, but someone had the bright idea of changing companies to save money. That was a mistake. We bought these and their 4 portable unit. Excellent quality, great price. Save time and money by using cat6 instead of long runs of HDMI. You won't be sorry!

I had to connect my receiver and my DVD player to my TV and I only had one output port to spare. I had another switch before, but I believe it was 2.0 HDMI and I was getting very strange mismatches with my inputs to the TV. After using this, everything worked great. Didn't need to use the USB power cable in this case.

Excellent quality work seems mostly control works great as well. I wish it was a three to one!

It works fine but know that it requires a Micro USB connection to power it to make it work at its peak, otherwise it would work as around HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 as I tried 1440p 120hz on Xbox One X, works only when the Micro USB cable is powering it, otherwise won't work more than 1440p 60hz. Still fine like if you don't have higher refresh rate requirements then no need power source, also the Micro USB cable is provided but not so good quality, doesn't fully insert in. I've not tested 4K or 8K but sure it will work if Micro USB power source is connected, as I've tested cheaper devices with only HDMI ports without this Micro USB power port, they don't work 1440p 120hz, only 1440p 60hz, this means higher bandwidth requires additional power source other than only HDMI Cables.
