Very Handy
Worked Fine ! A bit pricey, but solved my issue adapting 2" shower drain to 1 1/2" low profile ! A bit flimsy, but solved the problem and has the Trap built in.

Used in basement above floor shower drain.
Worked perfectly for an above floor shower drain. Really simplified the plumbing.

The piping with the trap doesn't fit any standard plumbing.
The trap itself seems ok. The piping with it doesn't match any standard USA plumbing fittings.

Save your money .
Very thin plastic. Flexible hose will not fit any fittings in the US. This hose has I'd of around 1 1/4" and is corrugated this will plug up in no time . Not a good option

Cool idea but non-standard and cheaply made
I bought this because I have a compact space to work with. It is a trap and drain in one. It fits in a standard shower base/pan but is so low profile that the side drain exits in line with the sub-floor under the pan. It is designed for a 1-1/2 inch crush washer waste pipe instead of a glue joint. 1-1/2 PVC DWR fittings don't fit.If I was willing to use the European-style flex line, it would probably be just fine but my pan is tiled in and this drain and fittings will be inaccessible for the life of the install.If you have access to repair or inspect, this is a neat product. If not, I would be concerned about reliability.

It works
We had very little space for our shower plumbing, and this works. It seems ti be fairly cheap, but all it has to do is drain water. And it does. We ended up using a different strainer to be sure to catch ALL of the hair because we would be afraid to try to snake it.
