These are okay but better choices are available
I have 2 pairs of silicone mitts, these and a pair of orka. While these are okay and will protect your hands, they don't measure up to the orka model. The thumb placement on these makes it more difficult to hold anything as the natural tendency is to use your thumb opposite your middle finger. Not a huge thing but this style reduces flexablity and gripping power, I feel that I'm fighting against the mitt when I use it. Another thing I disliked about these is the unremovable liner. Being able to remove the liner is a nice feature as I've been able to take them out for a washing when needed. Also I don't know whether these are handwash or dishwasher safe as the tags say both. In summary I would say to definitely get a pair of silicone oven mitts, but consider the orka's as a better alternative.

Not bad, but minor complaints
I bought a pair of these silicone oven mitts to replace an old, warn out pair of fabric ones. These mitts are okay. They are very good for being "grippy" of hot cookie sheets. The only negatives for me are that the thumbs sometimes get into the food on the cookie tray when I take stuff out of the oven. The thumbs are a little stiffer than I am used to with the old fabric ones, and they stick out a little more. The mitts are kind of expensive too. I haven't tried to clean them yet, so I'm not sure how they stack up there.Definitely good and "grippy", if that is what you are looking for.

Works great and as advertised
Don't really know what else there is to state about these silicone padded oven mitts other than they work great. My old mitts would burn through and I would immediately feel the hot pots and pans. With these, I could hold them for several seconds before I even start to feel the heat coming through the mitts. Definately more than enough time to take it out of the oven and put them somewhere. Now, if you decide to hold the hot pots and pans for like a minute or something, you'll definately start to feel your fingers getting hot but most people will probably never get to that point as most will probably just pick it up and place it on top of the stove and that's it. Definately worth the price I paid for them as not burning my hands is a super plus in my book.

Flexible and protective: Excellent oven mitts!
Our old mitts had the tips burned open, and the stuffing was showing--so we needed a replacement. I just didn't want to buy something that would have the same problem a year or two from now--so I got these. These are way better than the silicone mitts I've tried out before and didn't buy. The other silicone mitts were 100% silicone, thick, and really inflexible. These mitts have enough silicone to protect you from the heat, as well as a nice soft padding--they're flexible, protect your hands well.I tried these while broiling some chicken in our oven, and there was no problem taking out the racks, moving the pans around, basically whatever you normally need oven mitts for.Plus, they look nice. The red ones look nice too, but we wanted something different. Recommended!

No more burns
After burning myself numerous times when using my very worn, very cheap potholders, I decided it was time for a more reliable replacement. These have worked out well, and I have very small hands. They are flexible enough to grasp pan edges securely. I like that they also protect my wrists and lower arm. No, you won't be doing fine motor tasks while wearing these, but what I wanted them for was taking hot items out of my oven and these have passed the test. No more burns for me.

Great oven mitts
Like most oven mitts they do exactly what they say. I thought I might not like the silicone but it doesn't bother me and they help for gripping. The only problem with these is the color options. The royal blue really means that they are not going to hang from the wall.On the functional end they are excellent, however on the designer side they are the only reason for loosing a star on the rating.

I really like these, and normally I don't like kitchen mitts
What's great about them is that they're much more flexible than most cloth mitts, provide a really secure grip, and are easy to clean by running under the faucet or washing with a kitchen sponge or dishcloth. We have cloth oven mitts and I almost never use them - too hard to manipulate, don't grip securely, always seem to get dipped in the edge of the food. These I voluntarily use quite often, and much to my surprise.

Heat resistant as promised
These gloves are heat resistant as promised and their flexibility is very good. The only complaint I have is that the thumb is short so it's a bit awkward to grip things by thumb and finger, but it's very easy to grip things with both hands on the sides. When I have to pull out a cookie sheet, I usually use my other gloves because they are much easier to use. for that.
