Industrial Rustic Modern Wood Ladder Pipe Wall Shelf 4 Layer Pipe Design Bookshelf DIY Shelving

This shelf looks great and is very sturdy. I recommend anchoring it into the studs and getting better drywall anchors for the screws that can't be placed into studs. (The dry wall anchors that were provided were so cheap and flimsy.) The directions were mostly pictures and were a little challenging to decipher. However, I have no experience with building and I was able to assemble this shelf in one hour. I did take the recommendation of a previous purchaser and did not tighten down the shelf so when I mounted the shelf we could have some play to level all of the shelf pieces individually. You will need at least two people to mount this shelf. I recommend anchoring the center anchor to the wall first. Leveling the shelf directly below, and then level and anchor the other shelves thereafter.

I struggled a little bit to get things all lined up before screwing the pipe flanges to the wall, but that's because I was working alone. A helping hand would have made it easier. It's been over a year now and had many guests stay in the room where this adds a bit of steampunkery vibe. I am pleased with it. It's just as it appears in the product description.

I agree with other reviewers, assembly instructions are useless. I had to use pictures and videos from actual reviews to assemble the unit. In addition, this type of design is not the best one. It would have been nice to be able to hang main frame and then be able to add the shelves themselves. Current design requires two people to hang this unit on the wall. Yet, even then, due to some pipes being too lose or too tight in the connection, it is very hard to mark exact locations of the screws on the wall perfectly. Designers could add couple of extra connectors that would allow unit to be hung in sections, otherwise the whole assembly is bulky and not that light; definitely a two men job. Other than cumbersome assembly and hanging, this unit is really cool if you like steam-punk/industrial type of decor.

This shelving unit is spectacular. The instructions are worthless. You can put this unit together in several different ways, providing you are good at puzzles. We ended up turning one of the shelves into the corner. The pipes are all different lengths so it will not come together like a standard unit. It is made with multiple tiers, with separate fittings to allow for shorter piping on one side and longer piping on the other. All of the shelves are level, provided you correspond the correct pipes. Mounting is a bit more challenging, my best advise is to put it together, tighten all the connections including the mounting brackets. Have one person hold the entire unit to the wall while the other secures the unit with screws directly into the wall.

So first, this shelving unit is great for the price. It's sturdy enough to hold fairly heavy items. Because of the "pipe" that sticks through the shelves themselves, the available room is somewhat reduced. This is a unit for "knickknacks" and smaller items! It was rather tricky setting up and getting attached to the wall - don't recommend doing this solo like I did! LOL. Overall, very satisfied with the product. My one "quibble" is that the writing inside the steam "valve" is in Chinese - so I don't know what it says! = )

The Good: It looks great once you're done. Quality parts and pieces etc. So honestly the pipe is good quality - it saves you the money of going to home depot and probably spending triple on the "real" stuff. The Bad: Assembly is not as easy as it should be. I had to manually rasp the holes in the wood because they were about 1/8" off on either side so 1/4" overall. Some of the wood is definitely warped a bit The Ugly: The instructions are about as helpful as air conditioning on the moon. No words, blurry pictures, and no idea what to do. Figure it out I guess. Overall: Not a bad piece. The shelves can be leveled pretty easily. It is called USE A LEVEL. I mapped out how i wanted everything, loose fit it all up, and then secured the middle flange FIRST. This made everything else much easier. I also put the wood shelves in place before anything else. once you get there tighten everything up as much as you can. You won't always get a perfect alignment. Either crank it down within reason, or back it up a bit and deal. Looks great when its done and mounted. Just wish the assembly and wood holes were properly done out of the box.

We are loving our new pipe shelving, and it is so different from just regular shelving. If you are looking for something rustic and different, this is it! We had no problem assembling it, the diagrams that came with this could of been a lot better, the pics needed to be bigger so you could see what was what and the connectors. There is no written directions, so you need to rely on the pictures. It helped us that we were looking at the finished piece. Now for the installation part, very difficult to mount! You need to get the center piece in a stud because if you use the hardware supplied with this, is definitely WILL NOT work! We even tried butterfly drywall mounting, and the weight of the whole unit just ripped it right out of the wall! So, we found a stud that we could use and went in that direction. We used butterflies on the ends to make a sturdy hold.

sehr schönes Regal. sieht sehr trandy aus und macht sich unglaublich gut in meinem Studio. Es ist zwar keine präzisionsfertigung - aber als Deko top!

Difficult to assemble only due to the fact that you can display this shelf many different ways.

Teuer aber wirklich schön Kommt aus china 😄 Hab teilweise ein wenig Rohrkleber verwendet. Hab ein anderes gekauft wo die beschreibung deutlich besser war. Aber man kann ja eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen.

Real sturdy, a little tricky to assemble but looks great.
