This brain model helped me ace my A&P lab practical! It had all the structures I needed to know and was a good way to learn the material hands-on. Plus, it fits inside the skull model I purchased for my previous practical. Definitely recommend this for any A&P students.

The item came in great shape and well packaged.It does get the job done pretty well! It's a great model.

Im currently pursuing a career in cognitive neuroscience, i figured i would like to have a brain model to study with instead of looking online at pictures of brains.(not some budget model) This model is okay. The labels can be confusing at first.Even with the guide they send you kinda makes it more confusing on locations. For over 100 dollars they should have given a better stand with the brain instead of a piece of crap plastic base, but it's whatever. A good study tool with this model is to go online to (g2conline.com)and look at the 3d images. It helps to not only know where each location is but what it is also doing.The sub cortical structures of the brain are pretty good, they did a descent job of labeling the brain.( they label brain with numbers, if you dont know what number represents you can look in the manual they send you). The brain is magnetic, which makes it easier to take apart and put back together.I would recommend this model for people seeking to go to grad/medical school. Assuming that you dont want to pay more than 200 but not less than 100 dollars.

This was very good for the price. As other testimonies state, the numbers are hard to read. However, what I did was to locate the areas I was mostly familiar with and place a large black dot or a red dot on it. It was helpful. I'm satisfied with my purchase and the quality is good.I gave it 4 stars because of the small numbers but if you can find a work around, it's a great brain :)

Excellent product

This was a really great buy. I purchased this model because Amazon had it at a significantly cheaper price than 3B's website, and because I am studying neurobiology for my psychiatric nursing master's degree. In general, this model includes some of the most important landmarks in the brain, with the exception of a few very important ones, namely the hippocampus and amygdala (available in the more expensive model). I recommend this product; however, I cannot give it five stars due to leaving out some of the most important structures in the human brain.

It fit nicely in the A20/1 skull, and the level of detail was OK, but it didn't have a high-quality look or feel... more like a toy than I'd hoped.
