I am very very happy with these shades. As they are on the more expensive side (at least for my budget) I bought 3 first for 5 total windows in our living room that we open and close shades for multiple times a day. These five windows in the living/dining room area are facing the sun, and it is critical to have them open during the day, but as they are also facing a neighbor's house next door to us, we need them closed at night for privacy. It was tedious to open the existing "dumb" shades every morning, close them whenever we left the house, open them again when coming home, and then close them again at sunset. Also some of the windows are behind furniture such as a grand piano, so that made reaching for the shades even more difficult. We have a smart home with about 60 or so wifi devices, and another 20-30 thread, matter, or bluetooth devices. Everything is in Apple HomeKit either natively or through HomeBridge on a NAS server that I run for those items not native to HomeKit. It was important to me that any smart shades I purchased work with the smart home system natively, as I am trying to slowly get rid of non-native smart devices over time and one day intend to get rid of the HomeBridge connection when everything is native to Apple HomeKit. Once receiving these shades, (they are custom built and shipped from China), the instructions were very easy to follow. The mounting was fairly simple, just requiring a small drill prior to putting the screws in. I was so happy with the first three shades that I immediately bought the last 2. If they were a little cheaper I would buy more for many more windows in the house, probably all of them to be honest. I was extremely happy with these shades, I just simply don't have the budget to spend $250+ on more than 15 total windows. Someday.... Anyway, follow the instructions carefully when ordering. "Measure twice, cut once" applies here for sure. You must do your own preparation and be sure of the dimensions. But this company did a great job following through and the shades fit PERFECTLY. We went with an off white option, which looks great with our color palette. But nice to see so many color options as well. I have had these for several months now, and they have functioned perfectly with every command. They open with HomeKit automation at Sunrise, so when we get out of bed and leave the bedroom the sun is already streaming through the windows. Whenever we leave home, HomeKit closes the shades automatically and opens them when we arrive back home (as long as it is still before sunset). They close every day at sunset, and it is awesome to just be doing things and hear them 'almost' silently closing on schedule. They are reliable, good quality, and perfect for privacy and light blocking if necessary. I also will be resetting the level that two of them close to when the window air conditioner units go in the windows for the summer. Very happy with these, and when there is more money in the budget for the more expensive smart items, I'll be getting more someday. Highly recommend.

I bought these in Zebra 50% grey with the ZigBee motor for my living room patio door and I am absolutely blown away by their quality and functionality. I have to give a special shoutout to Cherry from The SmartWings Store support staff for going above and beyond to help me correct a mistake I made on my original order. Their customer service truly stands out. These shades are not only well-priced, but they are also high quality. I integrated them with my Hubitat home automation hub, and they work flawlessly. The ability to set them to open and close at specific times of the day is impressive and has made my life much easier. I even programmed them to switch between Sheer and Privacy depending on the time of day. As well I got myself a “Philips Hue Wall Tap Dial Light Switch” which allows me to set five custom buttons as well as a dimmer that I use for making slight adjustments to my curtain (I will include pictures and videos). Another thing that has been awesome is that using this alongside my Hubitat hub I have been able to integrate my shades with HomeKit, I can use Siri to open or set them to custom level as well as Amazon Alexa. Installation was a breeze, and the screen fits perfectly and works exactly as it should. I am truly amazed by the quality of the product, and if I could give it six stars, I would. Although I can't speak to the battery life yet, I'm confident that running the shades twice a day will give me 4 to 6 months of usage (based on the battery life reported to Hubitat) Another thing I wanted to add is that they are not loud when closing or opening, it is a quiet process. Keep in mind that these shades are best for those who want privacy without blocking out natural light. If you're looking for more light filtering or blocking, these may not be the right ones for you. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a perfect solution for privacy and light filtering. The SmartWings team's exceptional customer service and product quality make them a top contender in the market. I was pleasantly surprised when my order arrived within a week of ordering, even though the approximate delivery time was three weeks. I'm not one to leave reviews... this is probably the second time I'm leaving a review in all the years I've been shopping on Amazon. To date I've purchased several of these shades and I have been very pleased with the overall look and performance. Customer service is very good too... one of the shades had a solar panel that did not work, they promptly sent me a replacement. Time will tell if they last but so far they've been great. They're very easy to install and the remote has amazing range. I got a couple of shades with the so-called "smart motor" but it requires a Zigbee hub, which I don't have (yet). They are a bit pricey but I think they're worth it.

I was nervous about ordering automatic blinds online, but after watching a bunch of reviews on YouTube, I couldn’t be more happy with Smartwing blinds! For my bedroom, it probably took less than 20 minutes to install all four blinds, and the remote was already programmed, so they were up and running within 40 minutes. Customer service was also great too and the shipping. Considering they are custom blinds, I had them to my doorstep within 14 days of ordering.

Custom shades were done flawlessly and were very easy to install. They were pre programmed to open to the exact size of the window and they look great! I recommend adding the light blocking brackets for full black out. I added them to our bedroom shades and the difference is night and day.
