This is a weird supplement. It's one of the only supplements that you can actually feel doing something. I really didn't like it my first day, it felt strangely like an antidepressant. Emotionally flat and I just felt off. My reading suggests most people don't experience that, and that I got unlucky. I powered through it and now I feel amazing. It's honestly shocking how noticeable saffron extracts benefits are- for me it's all day energy, improved mood, improved focus, and conversation sharpness. The capsules themselves are extremely tiny and easy to take, but the potency is there. The smell is super strong and I hear some find it off-putting, and for me it does upset my stomach and kill appetite. Overall it's a good quality extract for the price.

I will order this forever because of how beneficial it is for my depression. I haven't had any side effects and I notice if I stop taking it, my deep depression comes back. Saffron saved my life.

I started taking these before bed to help me sleep. They are useful to a point. I developed perinatal anxiety during my 3rd pregnancy and my hormones are still influencing my mood and sleep. There are very specific points in my cycle that I sleep very poorly and saffron hasn’t helped there (I need to address the root cause but I’m still breastfeeding). On regular nights I do experience a difference. I’ve taken them during the day a few times and it does create a bit of calm. Easy to swallow and didn’t cause any GI side effects.

I find my energy and mood increasing on these but I cannot, for the life of me, get the pill out of the container without pouring them into my hand, taking one, and then funneling them back in. Makes me not want to take them at all bc the packaging is a pain.

Got this because I heard it helps with anxiety and depression. I have been taking it 2 weeks and can definitely tell a difference. Give it try if you have social anxiety, anxiety, or ruminate. I also take magnesium l threonate at night. Has been a great combo. I have been very calm and relaxed.
