It does work it just takes time.
Ever since I was little I have been worried about spiders even screaming in terror at seeing them, But as i've gotten older I haven't been as scared.. but they still give me the creeps and I can't go to sleep without squashing them. I bought this product about a year ago and at first when plugging this in I got quite a few spiders in my room appearing. But I had done a lot of reading on this before purchasing this. The device works by emitting a noise that makes them find it difficult to create a nest as the sonic sounds are making vibrations in the room that the spiders can pick up on the legs of there hairs this makes there webs ineffective as they can't hunt in that room so they move, which is why I had more spiders at first but after a few months I only ever got the odd one or two. the reason I still get the odd one or two though is because ultrasonic sounds DO NOT GO THROUGH SOLID objects just like beta radiation a piece of paper will block the sounds from going around it. So if you want the device to be as effective as possible place it in a open area of the house and the sound will emit to any parts of the room that are not being blocked by solid objects. I understand fully well that this product is not 100% proof and many people on here have been complaining that it does not work well that's because you haven't read correctly and what the device uses and how it works, If you want the best results you need multiple ones placed around the house. Its still not 100% effective as every house has cracks and gaps between the walls where spiders like to make nests but it will reduce the numbers in the rooms and they won't want to move about in those rooms because the noise disrupts there ability to use vibrations in the air to navigate around the room.

Really Works - brilliant
Love this, not had the sight or sound of mouse/squirrel or whatever we had previous that took nuts from a bag and spread them around the house; (my mistake - left an open bag of nuts on settee when going on holiday - just didn't see them). Thanks to this little gadget nothing has been in since, not even any creepies (which we do get when we are on holiday normally - little wood lice Huh!!) - a week ago we had someone come and take our old hut away and they even remarked that there were no wood lice or anything creepy in or around or even under the hut. (The hut stands next to our house). So although apart from the tiny unobstrusive little blue light that flickers you would not know it's there. Our neighbours cats (whom we love) still come into the garden, so it doesn't bother them obviously, except one who loves to catch mice and I notice he hasn't caught anything in past few weeks (probably because they have moved on).I am really pleased with this little gadget.

Don't waste your money!
This is Absolute Trash!Bought this for my small bungalow as I hate spiders and the season for them coming indoors is upon us. I plugged it in (it says 'switch on' but there's no switch to be found) and have been using for 2 weeks and in the room it's in, my bedroom, I've already seen 7 spiders! I even saw one sat on the actual plug in machine!! It flashes with a bright blue light all the time so it's not really any good for a room you spend any time in, especially if you're prone to migraine or epilepsy!Don't waste your money. The company does offer full refund but as I'd have to pay for returning it I'm not sure I can be bothered. Learn from my mistake!

I think it’s good :)
I’ve had this about a year now plugged in at the side of my bed and I haven’t noticed a single spider in my bedroom since (or moths either). I used to get some sort of creepy crawly show up in my room every time I opened a window but now I can keep my windows open all day and find no intruders. It doesn’t really work for the whole house as it advertises but I’ve still noticed a decrease. I’d say about 5 spiders have been spotted in lounge over the past year compared to about 60 the year before and the 5 spotted were much stiller, like asleep rather than crawling round the floor like we’ve had in the past before the plug. The plug does make a slight humming sound every so often which can be a bit of a pain if your a very light sleeper. It also has a blue light that is on 24/7, but I rather like sleeping with it on, it’s quite calming and I’m scared of the dark anyway lol. I do think this plug works, well it might not actually work but it’s fooled me enough to stop me living on edge all the time and sleep in peace. I’d say if nothing else it works as a sort of placebo. I would recommend it, I’m even thinking of getting it as a birthday gift for some of my arachnophobic friends.

It maybe works
I brought 2 of these to make sure, one that is in a hallway upstairs and another one for by the back door. At first I thought they were working as I didn't find any spiders for a couple of weeks (although this may have been down to luck). Since then I have found a couple of large spiders in the porch but I wasn't sure if it was because the units didn't work or whether the effects don't reach the porch as there's no electricity running through there? But I have also found 2 large spiders inside the house downstairs by the front door so again I'm not sure if my defence is not as effective there or if they are just rubbish? I still like to think that they are doing something though but to be honest its hard to tell how many spiders I might have had without them. I use them in combination with Spider Repellent Spray and piles of conkers in each room, which despite not ridding me of them completely, is at least keeping the numbers down (I hope).
