Our teenage daughter loves hers. We don't allow device usage at home, so this was the alternative. CDs may be the issue but it works great with modern earbuds.

does what it suppose to do

I have previously purchased this same item from another retailer so I was already familiar with this player. I bought it here for about $10 less. This was strictly done as a back-up because I know how “disposable” this players can be. I’ve owned more than I can remember over the years at this point. The unit is filled with functionality beyond what I will ever use yet it is worth the extra money for the bookmark feature alone for me. I don’t use the earbuds that it comes with because I experience better sound with the upgrades I use which are inexpensive ($20) over the ear KOSS’. Package arrived in perfect condition and it’s likely I won’t even open it until the other one is dead. It’s been over 6-months at 3-4 hours per week with no issues with my previously purchased unit. I use it under strenuous activity and the anti-skip feature works wonderfully thus far. I’d recommend this unit.

Great, I take an audio book on walks, also gives deeper immersive time while reading and listening.

stopped working after using it once

Purchased for my son. He loves the retro look and the sound is terrific!

I've bought several models of Studebaker, and I like all of the designs AND sound quality is just fine for these old ears. However, they tend to fail way too soon. This last one failed within just about 3 months. It has a battery failure. Stick with the ones that don't have built-in batteries. However, they don't seem to last very long either.

It’s a CDPlayer. I use it to play CDS. Works fine. Easy to use.

doesn’t even work. it stays on “rEAd” for HOURS and when it finally does play the disc, it doesnt even finish a song before going back to “rEAd”. complete waste of money. im thoroughly disappointed. i dod everything as per the instructions, but it still didn’t work.

I don't understand why this has gotten so many mixed reviews. This is a great CD player. Perhaps if people treated their walkman's well, read the enclosed instructions on how to operate it correctly and turned off the player to save the batteries when not in use, they would have a lot less problems. As for the complaints on price... I remember when the CD walkman first came on the market and those were expensive like you wouldn't believe. The price of this one is very reasonable... actually it's pretty decent, and it looks really nice too! I cannot say how well this works jogging as I didn't get it for that reason. I keep it stationary on my desk when I'm on the computer or relaxing. However, I will say that I'm pretty happy with it and I'm glad I didn't listen to any reviews that I read on here.
