These lights last a ridiculously long time. I bought the package with 120 pieces. I turned one on and let it run continuously, it has now been over 70 hours, and it is still reasonably bright. If used in a regular rubber balloon, the light will still be shining long after the balloon deflates. Also, keep in mind that each one has a tiny on-off switch, so they can be turned on only when needed. These lights are definitely not waterproof, and their batteries cannot be replaced, but priced at just $0.19 each, they can be discarded once the batteries die (more about that below). A small loop next to the switch allows these lights to be hung from a small diameter wire (Christmas tree ornament hanger) or line (fishing line). I placed a single light into a bowl of water, it sank with the light pointing up. The light has continued to shine while submerged. I can see water intrusion into the case, and while it has been submerged for over an hour, it has not even flickered and there has been no apparent decrease in light output. While I would not recommend submerging them, they should hold up in the rain. Initially, they are very bright, but brightness will decrease, as the batteries discharge. At 48 hours, the light output was about half the original level. After over 70 hours of continuous running, that light is still around 20% of the original brightness. I do not use these lights as intended, I use them for camping. They can serve multiple purposes around camp. They can be used inside a tent as a light, mark the boundary of your campsite, illuminate those darn tent stakes and ropes, mark trails, and keep track of your gear. These things are incredible, and I am always finding another use. Lastly, even after they seem to die, these lights will continue to emit a micro glow for many months. The glow is so weak that when pitch black, it will take several minutes for your night vision to adjust enough to see it. I have found this micro glow more useful than you can imagine. Don't throw these lights away without checking for this. When you do discard them, do it properly. EDIT: It has been several days since my original review of these. Both lights are still glowing, even the one that is underwater. They are both weaker, but still reasonably noticeable. Amazing!!!

I bought these to add to some 3D printed models to add color and light to them. Works very well for that and they are very bright. They are a solid color though, and I thought they may be RGB and rotate colors. I did not see that in the description, but did assume based on some of the images. Still very nice for the price, just be aware of how the colors work.

I love these tiny lights. They light up our local hot springs until it looks like a fancy spa. Expect them to be single use, though. You’ll never keep up with that tiny piece of paper that you are supposed to reinsert to turn them off. I’ve had these last up to 4 days though. Good value and lots of fun and beauty.

We were very grateful to find these. We used them to outline and light up our truck for a Christmas parade. We were able to custom design our truck with our logo and such by gluing the mini lights individually onto magnetic tape. It worked perfectly for our purposes. Unfortunately, several of the batteries fizzled out before the parade was over. They were not super bright. Some of the lights did not turn on. The switches were easy to use, but sometimes they seemed stuck. However, for the price, it is reasonable to assume they are for short-term use.

Worked well , used in lanterns for my daughter's wedding.

I make a lot of crafts, what a bright, functional long lasting and strong. Great Value. Super easy to use for so many different things.

About 6 didn't work but the rest were bright
