Beautiful! It will last a lifetime and I will pass it down to my kids if proper cared for. I am a recently separated Navy Veteran and I can confirm that the small beads that attach the larger ones are made of the same material, size and sturdiness as the one I was issued in the US military. The be honest, the larger ones are exactly the same too just with the obvious size differences. You will have to be really careless or purposely try, to damage this beautiful Rosary. It has small (8mm give or take) key rings that attach the cross and the medal and can be easily swapped if necessary. I bought another cross because I wanted a very detailed St. Benedict crucifix (Hzman stainless st. Benedict crucifix pendant necklace INRI) nothing wrong with the one that came with just a matter of preference and I love it. It is ridiculously light weight! My new crucifix alone is heavier that the beads itself, still I love it and will recommend this rosary to anyone on a heartbeat it was delivered a week in advanced without any issues. Over the years, I've purchased and have been gifted many rosaries, all with the hope that "this would be the one that survives". The one that feels hefty in hand, strong when pulled, and that can withstand the daily carrying in the pocket of an active guy. That's not to say that wooden beaded, lightly attached rosaries don't have their place. Their beauty and feel is unparalleled. But for something that stays in your pocket every day, this is perfect. The craftsmanship is top notch, while calling to mind our brothers and the battles they faced in the trenches, and the lines that can be drawn to our own battles today.The Rugged Rosary Battle Rosary is an item that every man should have, and keep with him. I purchased this Rosary for my boyfriend, as I wanted to gift him a more masculine looking rosary. He was very happy with his gift and it exceeded our expectations. The rosary is made from beautiful, high quality materials and it has a nice weight to it. I already added a different style Rosary from Rugged Rosaries to my cart.The additional goodies in the package, prayer cards and a rosary ring, were also very much loved and appreciated.

My new rosary is very sturdy as well as beautiful. I can tell it was made with much care. It actually looks a lot better than on these pics. I was very comforted by having it hang from my rear-view mirror while I drove alone from Utah to California. I was intimidated by that long drive, so I hung it there as a reminder that we are never truly alone.Also, I did not have to concern myself with any damage from the heat by exposure to the sun either. I think this is the best purchase I have made lately. I also intend to wear it occasionally. This makes a great gift- ESPECIALLY since it comes with a nifty metal container to keep it in (along with a cute wooden key-chain). The craftsmanship is phenomenal. It has a good weight to it, very durable material. As a guy who isn't too flashy I typically wear monotone colors and this matches perfectly with my other accessories that are stainless steel or titanium. The included prayer cards show how genuine and caring they are. They even threw in a free bottle opener that I now keep at my desk! As a Texas man myself, I'm glad I did business with this Texas company!
