Love, love, love
I am so glad I got this with the 2 sizes. When my cycle is heavier I use the larger one, when it's lighter the smaller one is perfect. It takes a little practice to use... I think by the 2nd or 3rd attempt I had it down. There's no leakage until it's full, so I'd recommend period panty for anyone with a heavy period. I used to worry about leaking through a pad after an hour, but not with this. Can I leave it in for 12 hours when I have heavy bleeding? No, but I could use it for a 3-4 hours before needing to empty. But the best part is it's great on an airplane or in other public spaces. I would recommend, having a small bottle of water and a menstrual cup sanitizer that you can take into a stall in a public restroom. What's more is you can use it for at least a year which means great cost savings and it's good for the environment.

ideal & super comfy for beginners! Love it!
I was expecting leaks & major complications when it came to inserting/removing the cup as I’ve only used tampons prior to buying. On my first night, I was able to get the cup in within 15 minutes using the 7 fold. It’s also important to relax yourself when inserting the cup or removing it! I did find it a bit uncomfortable but after a day or so, my body got used to the feeling & everything went much smoothly.I ended up keeping the cup in overnight & woke up to no leaks whatsoever!! So far I haven’t had any problems with it & find that it’s easiest to remove & reinsert in the shower (I use the C fold since it’s easiest for me). You can do your business with the cup still inserted & even after having the cup in for most of the day, there are still no leaks but it’s helpful to remove every 6-8 hours or whenever you feel necessary.I prefer a menstrual cup over pads/tampons especially since you avoid feeling dirty & in some cases, your cramps don’t feel as severe which is great!I’ve seen mixed reviews on how easy the cups are to work with but I think it just depends on the person but I definitely recommend to anyone thinking about making the switch!

I gave Lena another try and it still failed miserably
A few months ago, I bought Lena cup ( regular) types, size small as my first menstrual cup due to high ratings and raving reviews. I had horrible experience with it. I thought it was just me not knowing how to do it properly , then i kept viewing all tutorials and no matter what i did, it’s just so painful to bear. It’s like tearing myself out every single removal. Yes, I know how to break the suction, it’s not that, the reason is the stiffness of the cup. Because it’s very stiff, the moment it made to the entrance, it’s basically similar to giving birth. Even for just a second or two, that stretched feeling is very very painful. And yes, I am a mom of 2.Also, when inserted, it popped open and again, thanks to its stiffness, it could give your bladder a horrible kick.I was glad i did not give up on menstrual cup after that, I did more research and tried Saalt soft small. It was so soft, no pain, no discomfort, maybe a bit too soft, so on heavy day, the suction would break off itself causing some leaking. After getting comfortable with it and since i got very heavy period, the small cup is not enough to keep me clean for 3-4hr so i need bigger size. I thought i could give Lena sensitive a try since it’s slightly less expensive than Saalt, i thought i would give Lena a second try, maybe all i need at the beginning was the sensitive type.I am now confident to say I had made a wrong choice. Lena sensitive is indeed softer than regular. I have very little problem putting in or taking out even with regular size instead of small size. It’s stiffer than Saalt soft but not painful like Lena regular. I also like that the stem is shorter than Saalt so it’s not sticking out for my extremely low cervic. It would be perfect if It doesn’t have the ridges on the bottom and the stem. I read one reviewer mentioned this detail but I didn’t pay much attention to it. I should have.As you can see in my photo, the darker orange one with visible ridges is Lena, the faint color is Saalt soft.. The ridges cause lots of discomfort because it constantly rubbing on my part. I can’t feel the cup inside but i can feel those ridges every second. If you’re dried down there, this is an absolute NO. I use lube and i can still feel it no matter what position i am in.I am very disappointed with Lena. Now I can confirm Lena is just not for me. For the price i paid, i expect better design and comfort than that.

I totally forget I have it in
The media could not be loaded. So at first I was afraid these things would hurt (not sure why I have used tampons before and am married). My best friend convinced me to give menstrual cups a try and I searched for ones that looked less rough and hard like what she had shown me. Lena fit my profile, flexible cups, two sizes and carrying sacks for them. I just use the 'C' fold method and push it high up (at times cervix is really high so I can get cup high up) and let a bit of the tip poke out of the vagina for easy removal. And once I need to empty it I was my hands, use one hand to hold the labia open and the other to gently tug on the cup while I push down. I stop when the cup opening is suctioned by the labia and then give one small pull so it doesn't spill. Dump contents in toilet or sink and rinse with warm water and a cleaner or soap and pop it back it. So easier I forget I have it in
