It blended in well with the room that was a plus, but I couldn't tell a difference and now it's sitting in a drawer...waste of $$ not enough directions either.

Very weak 5GHZ output power!
I bought this for the 5GHZ frequency and am very disappointed with the weak output power, 10 feet away it goes down to 2 bars, I go a little around the corner to the kitchen and I get completely dropped. I know it was cheap but now I have to buy something else. 2.4ghz channel is stronger but that's probably not why you are looking at this.

Useless
We recently have a new 300Mbps service installed and we purchased this to extend the 5G WiFi to the living room.Amazon Technician helped me to connected it from distance and really appreciate that. You might want to reset your router for this little extender to connect.Then I test the speed before relocating it. Under 5G band, it gives me ~100Mbps, which can be easily reach by connecting to 2.4G band broadcast by my router, without this extender in the living room. Under 2.4G band, it gives me ~40Mbps, which is way lower than what is list here (300Mbps & 450Mbps). Then I went to Advanced setting, and it showed that the maximum available channel width is 80Mbps. Yes, instead of 450Mbps, it can only broadcast 80Mbps WiFi!! So if you are expecting any speed over 80Mbps, try something else but definitely not this one. And the maximum channel width of 2.4G band is 40Mbps instead of 300Mbps.A week ago, I purchase another router claiming it can broadcast a 300Mbps internet. However, the only WAN port it provides is a 10/100Mbps port, which means your internet speed can never exceed 100Mbps. It is really weird that all the sellers decide not to list the limiting factor. It is just like claiming the door is 10m wide, but never say that there is just a 10mm tunnel behind it.Really disappointed.

Great Product. You have to set it up with a Windows 7 machine but other Windows 10 machine can access the repeater.

Just does not work. It took a few times of going through all of the directions repeatedly to get it to connect to my router at all (yes, I plugged this right next to it). The WPS didn't work (and my router was blinking that WPS light, so it looked like it was active); and this thing did not really help any signal while it "worked"... then it stopped connecting altogether, despite repeated cycles or restarting and doing the connection process.
