These held on for so long I was genuinely surprised and when they did come off I popped them back up with some double sided tape. Very durable, adhesion was good just follow the instructions to the letter. Hung my lights just fine. No color so blends in to your wall. Idk about adjustability. I'd say try to avoid moving them once you put them up. I feel like if you put them up and have to move them removing the tape and adding a fresh piece will serve you better because for me once they came off the wall the adhesive wasn't quite the same. Double sided tape is a good backup esp if your lights are heavy.

My son relies on these for dorm room life because pictures somehow multiply the minute he gets settled. They are easy to use, hold well once in place, and make it simple to hang things without pulling out tools or worrying about wall damage. They have been a very practical staple for getting a room set up quickly and keeping it looking pulled together.

This really should be a 3-start rating, but I have to give them a 4-star rating just based on how often I use them and ease of use. But, I should knock off 2 stars because…. THEY HAVE A SHORT SHELF LIFE! That’s right. The adhesive does not last like you would expect. A completely unopened package, stored in a a dark drawer in house with good temperature control will be completely useless after a year or two. Do Not Stick, Do Not Pass GO, Go to JAIL! I’ve thrown out maybe a hundred or more of these Commando Strip that were 100% USELESS just from sitting in a drawer or a year or two. Such a waste of So, if you find this product handy, DO NOT STOCK UP. Only buy want you’ll need in the next Also, there is the occasional Removal FAIL. At least 2 or 3 times, after a strip had been on the wall for a year or two, It completely pulled off the wall paint and a layer under that. So, if it’s unused, the adhesive will go bad waiting to be used. If it’s on the wall too long, it will go bad as the adhesive marries to the under lying surface. So diabolical.. Thus, I very grudgingly give this a 4-star rating, because they are fast, easy, no nails or hammer needed. But, they do disappoint you when you least expect it.

Command strips - the plastic loop type - always stick together well and much better than the "cloth" ones. These were used to replace ones outdoors holding some rain curtains in place; to hold up a heavy plastic sheet as a guard on bannister railing; to hang a light picture frame; and to store ceiling fan and light remotes on the walls of different rooms. TIP: Note that the maximum weight capacity shown on the container is achieved by using multiple sets of strips, NOT one set only. For example, the container may say 20 lbs., but that may only be true when using 4 sets of strips together for one application. FYI - I have not used these to hold any item that meets the maximum weight on the package. I used 4 sets on a medium-sized, light picture frame because there was no other way to hang it and I needed to be certain it wouldn't fall.

Used these to hold up some clear nail polish shelves and they worked perfect! I wanted the command hooks to be almost invisible and the shelves have a small hole that the command hooks fit perfectly into. The shelves with the nail polish aren’t super light and these hold the weight no problem.

Great for hanging pictures with no need for tools. Durable. Great quality. Good price.

These are a nice option to hang lightweight items on a wall that you can't nail into. However, if you misplace the hook and try to move it, it is nearly impossible to re-stick it to the wall. Moreover, the sticking power is pretty weak and you cannot hang anything with any weight to it. Also, the look of the clear plastic which shows above an item that has been hanged is not attractive. As such, this is a good solution if you have no other choice but I wish the adhesive was stronger and the imprint of the sticker was smaller.
