From website I thought the material was metal so I was surprised/disappointed when it arrived to realize it was plastic. However after installing I was very happy with results. Installation was easy and material adhesiveness is great and look perfect. Will definitely buy again when need arrives.

Because it was rolled up it wouldn’t stick to my door. It was a waste of money since unless you placed it right up against the bottom of the door there was no way it would stick properly.

I had 2 doors where to place this. The first had too big of a gap even though it says in the description up to 1.2 inches, gap was too big and was useless as still left a big open gap. The other door gap was too small, door wouldn't close but by the time I figured this out I had already glued one side on the door, I had to peel it off and took all the paint with it. I finally cut it in half and slightly tucked the tiny hanging piece (from the part that goes under the door) and it finally closed the door. Took me a long time to get this done, I wasted half of it but was already dirty from trying to get it in there so didn't want to deal with the return. Beware of the size of your gap under the door. So to be fair, It is an ok flexible material, seems to block air and bugs as described, not sure about durability.

I needed to create my own half door for my basement steps. I purchased this to go across the top portion of the door that has the cut. It works perfect for that very flexible and comfortable.

Soft yet firm stretchy draft stopper. Chosen white. Very strong adhesive. Can adjust but little difficult. This is pretty easy if patience is used. Clean area and let dry. Place product tightly in place to bottom of door. Start from hinge side first. Make sure not to stretch as the red tape is pulled 3-4” at a time. Avoid rippling gaps upon application. Keep pulling red stripe and firmly pressing adhesive tape 3-4”, until reaching outside edge of door. I used a box cutter and carefully cut to edge of door. Make sure that the product doesn’t extend pass the door edge. Otherwise open and closing the door will peel it away. It does have a tight fit. Had to use a little more push to close the door. Thinking about purchasing 2 more for garage 34” entrance doors.Can this be painted. I don’t think so.

So I assumed (yes, I know...I should never) that this was a plastic sheath that slid on the bottom of the door and glued in place. I was wrong, this is a rubber piece that arrives coiled up. I was initially upset.However it made sizing a breeze. Getting the adhesive strip to peel properly was a pain, but overall very easy install. They even include screws for the more stubborn installs where the adhesive wont work for you!The rubber seems durable too, but only time will tell. The hardest part is adjusting it to where you want. Honestly, I am happy with it.

It did work until it suddenly sliced and now pulls off when the door is closed.

The pictures make it look like this thing is stiff and durable but flexible plastic. because it is so flexible it will never retain a nice looking shape it will always look like it was folded up and ran over by a car. they say I can fill large gaps on the bottom of the door. That is simply not true. This is the worst thing I’ve ever bought from Amazon. Truly garbage.
