My groomer told me this brush wouldn't work for my Pekingese and were they wrong! When my little dog is sitting next to me on the couch I just brush away, it is such a bonding time for us and I know I am never tugging on her. She loves the brush as much as I do, plus it is so easy to hold and well made with the nice bristles and wooden base. I have a different brush for gnarly knots but seriously, using this one everyday, she never gets those knots. You know how your dog sometimes gently bites on your finger as a love bite? She sometimes goes after the brush to give it a love bite!

We have been through 6 brushes and our bullmastiffs have not allowed us to use any one of those. I finally decided to find a bristle brush to try in the hopes that our fur-children would like and even help with the decreasing the shedding. Well, not only has this brush met the expectation of the fur-children liking the brush, it aids in the removal of the hair and leaves their coat so soft and shiny. I cannot recommend this brush enough. I will be purchasing more of these brushes. The bristles are strong enough to brush through the undercoat while soft enough to not make the boys (fur-children) feel like they’re being tortured. The handle wraps around the back of the hand allowing for a comfortable palm hold of the brush to brush the boys.

This brush is the best one I've used on both house cats and ferals. The best feature is it fits in the palm of your hand. Some cats, especially ferals, are afraid of brushes with handles because it looks like a weapon to them. This one is far less intimidating. Brushing a cat with this brush uses the same motion as petting a cat with a bare palm. It is really soft, and easy to clean. I pull the fur out using a men's hair comb. I haven't seen a cat yet that doesn't like this brush once they let me try it. My feral cats have me well trained... as soon as I stop brushing them they roll around on the ground to get dirty so I'll brush them again 😂

My Border Collie rescue has been terrified of being brushed since I adopted her at three months old. She’s now three years old and still runs away when she sees me pick up a brush so I decided to see how she’d react to this palm brush. I guess without having an actual handle, she is no longer scared. She’s now starting to allow me to brush her. I only wish the bristles were a little more stiff so I could brush down through her undercoat. Or if this manufacturer offered a pin-brush…

It seems to be a great brush! Our pup is allergic to plastic and metal, not to mention has a really soft, short, but dense coat so this was perfect. I don’t know how to effectively clean it out but that’s besides the point.

One pup likes to have her coat brushed, the other, not so much. The brush is a bit small, but it’s a nice product. Elastic hand strap doesn’t quite fit my giant paw, but I manage.

I’ve used this on a Labrador retriever and it brings out a great natural shine in the coat. I use it as a finishing brush and for daily maintenance to keep the coat clean and smooth. It works well on both long and short hair dogs and feels gentle and comfortable to use. This is not a deshedding tool, but it’s excellent for conditioning and keeping the coat looking healthy.

It doesn’t really pickup any cat hair from her body, but she absolutely loves her morning face brushing with it and her body hair feels softer then it did with the more intense (hair collecting) brushes. My cats a senior and her skin if very sensitive to brushing now, but she likes this one. Even though, again, it doesn’t actually collect much hair. The first week of use, brush bristles here and there, but they say that’s normal for the first little while. I’ve had no actual issues and find the hand strap rather convenient and comfortable. It’s become our morning wake up routine, which is great because typically she hates being brushed because of how sensitive her old lady cat skin is. lol

My kitten loves this brush. It is a great size and shape. The bristles are soft but sturdy enough to comfortably brush your cat's coat. Leaves my guy with a smooth shiny coat every time. The strap helps to keep the brush in place in the palm of your hand for easy stroking along your cat. I would suggest this brush to anyone for their animal and it is decently priced.

Comfortable grip. Works like boar bristle brushes on human hair, so nice coat finish. But if it continues to shed bristles will have to try to return. Photo of bristles shed with first use, many more fine ones that didn't show up in photo.
