Horizontal Side Mount Chicken Watering Nipples, 6 pack

This is the second set I have purchased. I love them and my chickens love them. I'm getting a little bit of leakage from this second set, but I am going to try a little plumber's tape to see if I can correct that. Maybe the bucket I am using is a little thin walled. The first set with the recycled cat litter bucket I am using is perfect. No leaks, and my chickens have clean water all the time. No more open water in my coops!

Installed them on a 5gal bucket with a bird bath heater (with long cord). Worked well all winter here in Wisconsin.Chickens had warm clean water the whole time. Should have done it sooner.

No issues with these nipples. Nice and hard.Kidding aside, we used these on a home depot 5 gallon bucket with no problems.

Bought these to replace nipples that go under bucket that leaked all the time --These are perfect! Chickens took to them immediately and no leaks!!!

These things are awesome. I was skeptical so I bought the little cups too. I doubt I will be using those, but I may buy more of these.It takes a little direction for the chickens to figure it out, but once they figure out how to peck at the little metal piece, they are set. Got some happy chickens now.

Very poor design and very low quality. I had to do a lot of work to keep them from leaking and when I finely got that problem fixed the chickens pecked the center plungers out. I spent much more time getting them to work than they actually worked. The idea is good but the quality is so bad that even if you got them for free it wouldn't be worth it.

These work great, no mess, have not leaked yet. Chickens drink from them just fine.

I liked the product until they started to break...the springs break and water leaks. After 8 months, half of them are broken.
