This lock is great. It has lots of features and everything works well.Installation was simple. A template for hole is provided for hole cutouts if you are installing it on a new door.I bought it for my bedroom door, and the main requirement was that it have a good fingerprint reader, so that I could get in quickly without needing a key or to punch in a code. The reader works very well and very fast, I'd say less than half a second to open. One thing I love about it is that the reader is angled at roughly a 45 degree angle, which makes putting a finger on it (I typically use my thumb) more comfortable than most fingerprint locks, which have vertical fingerprint readers. That may seem like a little thing, but it just feels like a more natural and ergonomic position.You can set up numerical codes (I think between 4 and 10 digits), and they can be permanent, one time use, or time-based. So, for example, you can set up a code that works from 4pm on Friday until noon on Sunday, so it's perfect for an AirBnB, houseguest, maid, etc. The code entry also worked flawlessly.Three keycards are included. You just put the keycard up against the keypad and the lock opens instantly. Honestly, I don't really foresee using them - as great as they work, I'll just use the fingerprint reader and avoid having to take anything out of my pocket.The backup keys provided in case of power failure (i.e., dead batteries) work fine. One minor nitpick is that the keyhole is hidden behind the face of the front handle, accessed by pushing on one end of the handle. It works fine, but my question is, will I remember 5 years from now (or whenever) how to access the keyhole?The TTLock app is really good too. That was a bit surprising to me, since a lot of apps for these kinds of things seem like afterthoughts. This one is intuitive and easy to use.If you have the gateway for the lock (purchased separately), it connects to the internet though your WiFi, and then you can even open the lock remotely. That's a feature I'm not planning to purchase, but I can see how it could come in handy for some people.There are a couple of features that I had not read about that I like. One is that the time that the door stays unlocked after being opened is very customizable (default is 5 seconds) through the app. Another is that you can set a daily period of time during which the door will stay unlocked, and then lock automatically. So, for example, you could leave it unlocked at night so that if the kids get scared, they can come in without them having to knock and you having to go open the door.The 4 AA batteries are easily installed. You need to remove one screw to access the batteries.A couple of minor niggles: I got the lock in aged bronze, which looks great, but the latch bolt and strike plate are both silver - would be nice if they were also aged bronze to match. Also, one thing I could do without is the voice saying "unlocked" when the door is unlocked and "locked" when it automatically locks again. You can control the volume of the voice by a setting in the app, but can't turn it off entirely. I think it's unnecessary, as there is a light that briefly turns green when the lock unlocks, and you can hear the it unlock and lock, so to me the voice confirmation isn't needed.But overall, this is as perfect an electronic lock as I've found. I can't vouch for its durability, since I've only recently installed it, but I'm very happy with this purchase, and I'm thinking about buying one for my garage.

So far so good.. kinda easy install, everything works properly, looks really nice.

I’ve purchased six of these for my childcare center. Initially they all worked well and after about 5/6 months each 2 of them started to malfunction individually. Three days ago another began to do it.The fingerprint still works and so does the audio that says “door unlocked”. But when I turn the lever it all off a sudden doesn’t work properly.I’m disappointed as these have brought a great sense of security to my families and staff but will probably have to be replaced with another lock because of these malfunctions that can’t be traced to any particular issue.

****THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK NEW LOCK WAS PUT ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2023 AND OCTOBER 20, 2023 IT WAS BROKEN DO NOT BUY******UPDATE: COMPANY REACHED OUT TO ME AND DID PROVIDE ME WITH A NEW LOCK BECAUSE WE’D ALREADY PURCHASED A DIFFERENT TYPE OF LOCK WE JUST CHANGED IT YESTERDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH BECAUSE ITS SUCH A PAIN TO KEEP MAKING CHANGES. THE PERSON WITH THE COMPANY KEPT SENDING MESSAGES WANTING ME TO UPDATE MY REVIEW BECAUSE SHE WAS PREGNANT AND ALL THIS OTHER STUFF ALTHOUGH AMAZON SAYS YOU’LL NEVER BE ASKED TO CHANGE YOUR REVIEW. I WASN'T COMFORTABLE MAKING AN UPDATE UNTIL I KNEW THE LOCK WORKED AND IT DOES. I’M EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE ASSISTANCE I RECEIVED!***Purchased the lock January 30, 2023 and everything worked great until July 14th when the lock abruptly stopped working it says "unlocked" then within 3 seconds (which is how we have it set) it says "locked" but does not engage latch and allow entry. Despite “1 year warranty”, no known way to get an answer of any kind from seller/manufacturer; they aren't responding to emails sent to the email address provided nor answering their phone/returning messages. I'm pretty frustrated.

Edit: I emailed the manufacturer at [email protected] and she immediately got back to me and offered to send a brand new lock with a 3 year warranty!This door look was perfect for the first 8 months we owned it, and then it completely stopped working - the keypad won't light up or anything. I tried changing the batteries and that didn't help. The gateway doesn't recognize it either. It seems that it's still within the one year warranty, but I don't have box any more, so I'm not even sure how to get ahold of the manufacturer
