Great lights
Great lights, very easy to install and look great. Large variety of colours available. The 2 in 1 switch worked great as I could control both strips at once

Usual good Tapo standards, but the 2 strips clone
Great functionality, easy to use, great quality. BUT, disappointed the two strips cannot function as a single 10m run or independently. It is a pair of cloned 5m strips which doesn't work if you want a specific 10m light pattern.

Easy to install and work well
Fitted these above an LED adapted picture rail, they provide great light in the room and effects if we need them. I extended the leads using alarm wire as the transformer/controller had to be located a distance from the picture rail. Also fitted is a Tapo PIR to switch lights on when we enter the room, also easy to install and works well.

Faulty and difficult customer services
Lights are great when working but they cannot be joined together (still two separate 5m strips). Tale doesn’t stick well and often requires additional glueing or double sided tape. After following instructions on how to reduce the length we have ended up with the last section not working! Customer services agree that the product is faulty but struggling with replacement as they require the faulty strip to be returned first. As I need to remove cupboard fittings to be able to replace the strip it would be ideal to have a replacement strip first so I can remove and replace at the same time and then send back the faulty strip but company are not willing to help! Identification that the strip should not have done this was easy just the returns process being difficult! If you need to cut I would suggest that you do this prior to fitting if at all possible. Do not bin boxes as you need this if you need to claim on the warranty as you need the label on the side of the box!

Update Feb 2026. These lights mysteriously stopped and could not get them to start...Still don't know why to this day but I think it maybe was when my router crashed. Completely dead and hard wired into the ceiling. Fought with amazon to get a refund... Eventually got one. Well finally today I got them working again. It appears if you hold the control into button in for 11 to 12 seconds... Not 10 as suggested.... They start working. You'll need to readd them to your network.. But hey presto!!! Working!!! Credit where its due... An easy fix.

The best LED strip lights on the market
These are the best LED strip lights I have come across. Much better than many others that I have tried, and the only ones I have found that work properly with Apple HomeKit. They are really bright where I have used them under my kitchen units, and I am now thinking of other places where I can fit them as well!

Turned up in a very short time and in good packaging but have not yet installed it.

Buying in Australia i believed that i would get an Australian 240 v Plug but no its a UK plug, not really happy. The other factor is if that the cord from the power supply to the lights has only 10 cm from the connection lead so if you need to put it under the kitchen cupboard and you have a dish washer in the way you can’t divide it do so. this is before i have even plugged it in
