Good as alternative way to keep strings longer

I bought these strings for my dad, who lives out-of-state and who was diagnosed with cancer back in October of last year. He was down to 103 lbs, but has since been gaining weight again and has been able to play his guitar again.So, forgive me for not actually rating the stability and longevity of these strings, as I felt I couldn’t really give a fair rating on those areas, since I, myself, wasn’t the one who used them. However, I wanted to rate them as a good product, overall (I figured they must be good, since my dad normally uses this brand of guitar strings and they’re the ones he wanted me to get for him.So, for that, and the fact they’re helping my dad keep music in his life (which is priceless, really)…while he can…I gave the value of money 5 stars, as well as an overall 5-star rating.

I snapped the high e and had to buy a replacement set, then snapped the high e again as I tuned the replacement. Picked this up because I didn't need the other strings, just the one. Glad I have backups on this string. This one can be tricky to string so I would advise having multiple of it. Ernie Ball is epic. Great sounds all around.

I needed to get a bunch of high E strings because they are always the first one to break on me over time. These aren't terribly expensive and Ernie Ball are just a basic standard for strings that will work. I have had other strings that I like better of course, but for a high E that breaks more frequently and is not a wound string, these work great and don't force me into spending way too much money on crazy string packs.

I've always used Ernie Ball strings. I seem to break more high E strings so it's nice to carry extras so I don't have to break up a set.
