Company said not made in usa. nothing listed on product or box. anyone know where the straps are made?

The strap itself does not state where it is made however the box they come is says made is P. R. C. For those of you who don’t read code...this stands for People’s Republic of China. Sounds like they are able to confuse some of their customers with the company name of Rhino USA. The straps do seem to be made of nice heavy duty webbing and the cams are also heavy duty.

These look like a direct knock-off/copy of a PowerTye american tie-downs I bought 12 years ago right down to the labeling but these are made in china?

The tie downs we purchased are made in USA by a family run business. Best tie downs we have ever owned.

Yes there is a hook on each end. I use a separate loop type strap over the handlebar of my bike to prevent marring, but the hook will fit the standard 7/8" handle bar. These are great straps that release much more easily than the other cam-type straps I have used. Pricey but worth the money.

What material are the webbing/straps made from? Nylon, polyester, polypropylene?

I wrote directly to Rhino with the same question and received a prompt reply. (My question referenced the cam buckle straps so I can't say if the ratchet straps are the same.) They said their straps are a "polyester/nylon blend."
