Scorching Hot
“There’s not much in the world I want to claim as mine... But you… You belong to me” Synopsis: She can never be his...but he will take her anyway. Arrogant, emotionless, broody Rhys Larsen follows two rules: 1. Protect his clients at any costs 2. Never become emotionally involved. Rhys has never been tempted to break his rules before he met Bridget. Bridget von Ascheberg is a princess with a tendency to be stubborn that is an equal match to his, but she is not at all like he expected her to be and might be everything that he didn’t know he needed… Princess Bridget dreams of the freedom to love and live as she chooses. However when her brother abdicates, she’s faced with the possibility of a loveless, politically arranged marriage, and a crown she never wanted. As she figures out how to navigate her new role, she must hide her desire for a man she can never have…Rhys. Hot and forbidden, their love could destroy everything…perhaps they are both doomed. Thoughts: I absolutely devoured this book! I could not put it down. I loved the princess/bodyguard forbidden romance, the setting, plot, and the characters! Bridget is passionate, smart, strong, beautiful, and loving. I enjoyed her in book one and loved her in this! Rhys is sooo hot, broody, and possessive. Somehow he always knew what she needed and would do many things that made me swoon! And I loved the dynamic between Rhys and Bridget. I loved that Rhys and Bridget butted heads so much in the beginning. But the attraction for each other simmers until it boils over! That s*x**l tension could be felt through the pages, I swear! And those spicy scenes were scorching hot and that mouth Rhys has on him, seriously hot dang! They have great explosive chemistry and I could not get enough. Highly Recommend! This book includes: - princess x bodyguard -forbidden romance -possessive and dirty talking alpha -age gap -mutual pining -forced proximity -slow burn 5/5 stars 3/5 spice

Twisted Series- Best Yet
A Favorite Quote: “We weren’t a fairy tale. We were a forbidden love letter, tucked into the back of a drawer and retrieved only in the darkness of night. We were the chapter of bliss before the climax hit and everything crumbled into ash. We were a story that was always meant to end.” Self-written Blurb: Bridget’s new grumpy bodyguard is a stickler for rules and the epitome of “party pooper”. And as a princess, trouble seems to fall right into her lap. Rhys, an ex-Navy SEAL, does not mix business with pleasure. His job is to ensure his client’s safety, no exceptions. No matter how beautiful and intriguing they may be. But when Bridget’s life gets thrown a curveball when her brother abdicates the throne, leaving Bridget next in line, a bucket list just might be the thing that flips the script for Rhys and the princess. And after they both get a taste, how are they to move on with their lives like their story was meant to? What I enjoyed: Wow! Ana Huang has done it again. I am usually not big on the bodyguard trope but Ana delivered this trope masterfully and had me pining for more of Rhys and Bridget’s story. I am a giant fan of the dual POV! The plot kept me engaged and curious enough to ponder when I wasn’t actively reading. This one was hard for me to put down and I blew through it in a matter of days when it normally takes me longer to finish a book. The spice was on point with the commanding bodyguard vibe. The perfect blend of spice and plot and very easy to read and follow. Any struggles?: I would say it was mildly predictable but it didn’t take away from the story or experience. Will I recommend and to who: If you like contemporary romance with a slightly darker theme- this is for you.

Spicy Forbidden Romance between a princess and her broody bodyguard
I really enjoyed the second installment of this series. Twisted Games follows Bridget von Asheberg, who is the princess of Eldorra and her bodyguard Rhys Larsen. Their relationship had a bumpy start with Rhys being the cold, grumpy, and overbearing new bodyguard when her regular bodyguard had to take paternity leave. Bridget, not taking her security seriously, and wanting more freedom causes them to constantly argue. But they eventually fall into a tolerable relationship where they no longer want to strangle each other. Even to the point they need to hide their growing attraction to keep things professional. It all changes when Bridget's brother, who was next in line for the throne, decides to abdicate in favor of being with the woman he loves, which meant Bridget was now next in line. But she never wanted to be Queen. She also no longer needs Rhys Larsen as her bodyguard. This is where things get interesting and where the games start. Being it was a forbidden romance, it was a slight slow burn, but we didn't have to wait too long. The author delivered when it came to smut as well. The sex scenes were spicy af and the chemistry between them were sizzling. I really loved Bridget's character and how she grew so much into her role as a leader of the country. She took everything in stride and didn't back down and fought what she believed was right. I liked her insecurities and feelings of grief and guily as it made her relatable, too. Rhys was exactly what every smut reader wants from a book boyfriend 🥵 He was tall, dark, and handsome with a dirty mouth. He knew how to use his hands to pleasure her woman but also to cause pain to anyone who dared threaten her woman. The author does a good job with the writing with enough detail to help you feel like you're there with the characters and feel what they are going through without feeling too hard to follow. There were some points of repetitive phrases but not enough to put me off. The pacing was well done too, didn't feel like it dragged or rushed anywhere. My favorite part had to be their Costa Rica trip! And I enjoyed the twists of Rhys's parentage and the person behind leaked pictures. I would recommend this book to all spicy contemporary romance lovers. I'm looking forward to reading the third book next.

Twisted Games by Ana Huang (Book 2) Review
Twisted Games by Ana Huang (Book 2) Review Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Character/plot rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 It took me a while to finish this book due to things happening in life, but I finally finished and I’m not disappointed. Ana has become one of my favorite authors because she knows how to write a story. The plot, characters, world-building, and how to draw you in from start to finish. I really enjoyed this book and stayed up until 4:30 AM to finish it! I loved Bridget and Rhys’ story and how Rhy reminds me so much of my husband and how Bridget reminds me of myself. Thank you, Ana, for another wonderful story.

❤
This book! I really enjoyed reading Twisted Games. I think I like Bridget and Rhys story more than Twisted Love. I also like how intertwined the series is with the timelines. The relationship that Bridget and Rhys built from the beginning based on lust and anger to being to die for romance. It was just amazing. She taught and showed him how to love and receive love. It was unexpected hot, sexy, forbidden, and utterly soul consuming love. I personally love the slow build up for this book. I think the extra details went over really well instead of author just trying to make it smutt and nothing else.

This is the best that Ana Huang has written, with Twisted Lies coming close
With this book, I have completed all of Ana Huang's book. Ms Huang has a certain style of writing, and uses tropes well, in a beautiful, enjoyable way. But she also successfully is able to delve in deeper emotions which make the reading a highly enjoyable experience. Looks like I saved the best for the last. Up until now, Twisted Lies was my favourite (Josh and Jules are an absolutely rocking couple) but Bridget and Rhys managed to top them. There is so much heartache, and love spread throughout the book. The best part of the book is that you can see both of them grow throughout the years and it's lovely. Ms Huang writes raunchy sex scenes, and while in some books I found them a little out of place because ALL of Ms Huang's MLs and FL's go for the roughest of the rough (honestly, they never seem to make love which is kind of odd, but that's OK), but here they blend in beautifully with how these two are with each other. The side characters were also quite delightful and it's always nice to see other characters in and out of the books.

HONEST REVIEW (no spoilers)
|| 🌶️: 4/5 || ⭐️:3.75/5 || I am a little picky/specific with the books I like, but this one was a tiny bit underwhelming. I would rate this book a 3.75 but I had to put 4 because that’s not an option. When I read that this book was a forbidden romance, I immediately ordered it. The author is a great writer, but I wasn’t TOO obsessed with the storyline and the way things got to the end. The disliked: A lot of the story was a little repetitive, and I don’t think the story was slow burn enough. Yes, you could call it character development, but I fell in love with the cold hearted MMC in the beginning, and to see him turn into a snuggly bear only halfway through the book had me (only a little) forcing to finish it. Another thing is that sometimes the time would just skip a couple months or years and the readers are left a bit clueless even when you’re filled in. I want to see what happens in that time because I have FOMO. At the end, it kind of felt like it was rushing to the ending and the flame of being at the edge of my seat fizzled out. Yes, I get that the storyline kinda requires it, but just reading “2 years later” turns my stomach because I feel like I missed out on a lot! I also LOVE spice and I think she did a great job with the tension in the beginning, but it really died down towards the second half. It kind of felt like the last 3/4s of the book was them clearly in love while only the 1/4 was falling. I personally like more build up and slow burn. Also, I would’ve liked the FMC to be a bit more… dominant in bed sometimes. I LOVE how Rhys was, it’s hot, but I wanted to see him weak in the knees at one point, despite his big masculine persona. Information: The plot line is a hot bodyguard with a brutal past whom falls head over heals for his princess client. The story became quite predictable, but that’s okay, because I mainly started reading for the spice. Do not go into this book thinking it’s all spice, it’s not. It’s both spice and love equally, which is still nice. Things I liked: I really liked the beginning when Rhys ignored Bridget, and we got to see their tension and banter turn into love and passion. I would’ve loved more of that rather than royal politics consuming their story. I also like how the author added subtle hints of characters from the other books in this series sneaking around, to which I will be reading the rest. I skipped twisted love, however, because I read the reviews and just chose to dive right into this one, because the reviews said the author listened to her feedback making this book and the connection much better. I read some other reviews on the other books and will only be proceeding to read twisted hate, as I love the story line on that one. I know all of the books are good, I’m just picky!! My recommendation: I know no one asked lol, but I recommend it if you like romance book with some good spice and tension. However, if you’re more into tension and spice (the good stuff) than lovey dovey, I don’t recommend this book. I would probably recommend twisted hate, although I haven’t read it yet. If you’re reading the reviews and can’t decide whether to buy it or not, I suggest buying it, readinf up to half way, and if you don’t like the royal politics or get a little bored like I did, you can just pick up another book. (Anyway, I’m sorry if this review was a bit harsh, I’m just very picky and not into an overload of lovey dovey! Onto reading credence by Penelope Douglas next LMAO I’m not sure how I’ll be able to handle the drastic change.) Anyway, I recommend and it was a good read, just more so in the beginning :) It was a great book, and well written, just not for me!
