Good way to clean up a rack
I've got this in my rack for music equipment, specifically for easy rear power outlet access. My Furman PL Plus C is too hard to reach inside of my rack, and my old solution of using 1' extensions was messy and bad for portability. I will also be closing up the back panel soon, so it was important that I maintain clean, easy access to power. This fits the bill. It works well, and makes my outlets very accessible. It fits the rack space perfectly, and the housing fits inside the rack, rather than projecting outwards like some units. The price is kind of expensive for the basic features (no surge protection, as far as I can tell), but all rack equipment tends to be expensive unless you DIY. My only issue is the positioning of the power cable out of the side of the unit. If I had to install this in any other position within my rack, I wouldn't be able to, since there is a plastic part blocking the area inside of my rack. Having the power cable come out of the back of the unit would have allowed for more placement options.

Good unit
The swappable ends are really nice. Let me mount it whichever way I choose. Easy to install and mount into my rack. The spacing on the outlets is nice too if you have wall warts to plug in.

Slim, well constructed 1RU power strip
I use this in my homelab to power computer and networking equipment. It works perfectly well for my needs, and everything is up front and accessible which is exactly what I wanted for my application. The rack ears are not removable. If you don't have a network or A/V rack with 19" spacing, maybe pick a different power strip. All of the outlets are on the front of the device. If you want stealthy / hidden outlets, pick a different device. About my only complaint for the device is the power cord could be slightly longer.
