This book is an excellent introduction to the topic. It covers how buildings are designed and the planning process. Follows on with starting from the first buildings ever built and how they change over time. The designers, architects and key features of different styles and eras are covered in depth and really enable you to appreciate the design... and if a building is just a building or if it is architecture. Great book to start you off in the subject.

Egal in welcher Sprache viel zu oberflächlich -Ich hätte mir zu den einzelnen Baustilen eindeutige Bilder gewünscht- Ich werde das Buch in unsere Stadt Bibliothek geben -vielleicht kann sonst Jemand damit etwas anfangen - nach 9i Jahren Englisch Unterricht kann man den englischen Text recht gut verstehen
